In this episode, Ben and Corey Spell—the founders of Good Ranchers—join the conversation to share their remarkable journey from ministry to building a company that's reshaping the food industry. They open up about the leap of faith it took to start, the challenges of bringing transparency and integrity to meat sourcing, and the hurdles they've faced along the way—including Corey's personal battle with cancer and the powerful healing testimony that has marked their family's story. From navigating industry standards to standing firm on faith when the path ahead seemed impossible, Ben and Corey show how God has used their obedience to create a business that impacts families, communities, and churches across the country. Their story is both educational and deeply inspirational—encouraging dreamers, entrepreneurs, and parents alike to trust God with the big leaps and the small steps. This episode is brought to you by our sponsors: Angel Studios and Olive App. Their support makes these conversations possible and gives you resources to live with greater health and hope every day. What if the remedy to navigating our complex legal and financial systems has been hiding in plain sight within the very documents that created them?In this episode of Fire and Soul, I dive into equity jurisprudence with Michael Joseph and Phil Mederi of Sacred Honor Educational Fellowship. This conversation builds on my explorations of spiritual sovereignty and self-governance, offering what may be the missing piece for those who've completed status correction — or are just beginning their journey toward lawful living. One of the most important clarifications here is that status correction is not required to walk the equity passageway. Equity is not jurisdictional or exclusive. It's available to every living man and woman because it rests on one truth: we are the creditors of the system. All that's required is learning how to express that through our signature and knowledge, compelling performance by the letter of the law. What's amazing, is that you don't need to do anything first in order to access equity and begin freeing yourself from encumbrances. We explore the core distinctions between “legal” and “lawful,” revealing how equity operates as a private remedy rooted in natural justice. Phil walks us through Black's Law Dictionary definitions that expose how the legal system distinguishes between substance (lawful/equitable) and form (legal/fictional). We discuss the historical context from 1871 through 1933 that shifted us from gold and silver currency to a debt-based system, and how understanding this history provides pathways to peaceful resolution of public charges and debts. We also cover the four pathways within Sacred Honor's Foundation for Self Governance: national status passport, trifecta, allodial land, and equity passage. Our focus is equity as a tool for discharge, dissolution of public contracts, and peaceful inquiry — all designed to help individuals be “left alone” in the private while navigating public affairs with honor and integrity.About today's guests:Michael Joseph is the host of the Libertishorizon.com Podcast, executive producer & host of Liberty's Horizon Events, and founding director of Sacred Honor Educational Fellowship. A staunch advocate for self-governance, Michael educates on the invisible contracts that bind us to a commercial corporate fiction and shares remedies that empower people to bridge out of the Babylonian system or administer their affairs within it with more power and awareness.Phil Mederi is a student and teacher of Equity Jurisprudence and serves as Equity Director at Sacred Honor Educational Fellowship. With the conscious awakening accelerating worldwide, Phil is committed to helping bring law into balance with God and natural principles through Equity. This is essential listening for anyone walking the path of spiritual sovereignty and seeking practical, lawful ways to reclaim their natural rights. If they control your mind, they control your life. Today I co-host with my dear friend Brice @EsotericAtlanta to welcome back Cathy O'Brien, author, speaker, and MK Ultra survivor, for a grounded, hope-filled conversation on what mind control looks like now, how trauma is used, and practical ways to take your power back.We get real about:The sliding scale of mind control (from extreme programs to everyday algorithmic nudges), and why trauma + repetition + authority is the classic formula.“Monarch” narratives, alters/DID, and how these ideas show up in pop culture discussed as Cathy's perspective. The AI + media choreography piece: why short clips, fear loops and “urgent” banners keep us reactive.Parents & schools: spotting indoctrination vs education, and building real-world resilience at home.Healing from within (Cathy's big message): opening neural pathways, journaling by hand, safety, boundaries…and why love is the highest antidote to fear.Community, sovereignty and simple daily practices to keep your attention (and heart) free. This episode is about discernment without fear. We clearly separate evidence from interpretation, and focus on what you can do today.

If you listen to The Colin McEnroe Show regularly, you likely know that Colin has been influenced by two media theorists: Marshall McLuhan and Neil Postman. Postman wrote Amusing Ourselves to Death, among other books, and McLuhan is probably most famous for the phrase "The medium is the message," in addition to other influential ideas. This hour, we look at the ideas of McLuhan and Postman, and discuss why they still resonate so much today. As the first major IASP academic competition of the year, Spell Bowl sets the tone for the season - and few know it better than longtime coach Peggy Grabowski. With over 20 years at the helm of Terre Haute South Vigo High School's Spell Bowl team, Peggy led her students to the state finals more than twenty times and earned five state championships along the way. In this episode, Annie sits down with Peggy to talk about what it takes to build a thriving academic team - from practice routines and team culture to the joy of language and "embracing the quirk." Whether you're a seasoned coach, a new competitor, or just a word nerd at heart, this episode is full of insight, inspiration, and a lot of love for learning.

Growing up in sport, this week's guest was often told her body wasn't “right”—too muscular, not tall enough, never thin enough—and those messages followed her into adulthood through the pressures of work, marriage, motherhood, and loss. Her turning point came in a hotel gym, where she discovered the power of fueling well, eating enough protein, and lifting heavy. What began as a shift from self-medicating with alcohol to self-empowering with weights eventually led her to bodybuilding, a sport that both celebrates and sometimes complicates women's bodies. We dig into how eating more can transform health and performance, what it really takes to step on stage, how perimenopause shows up with rage, panic, and fatigue, and why muscle is the “metabolic 401k” every woman needs. This is a conversation about rewriting the script—replacing “small and skinny” with “strong and powerful”—and embracing the bodies we were meant to have. You can learn more about her work at AnneMarieChaker.comAnne Marie Chaker is a veteran journalist and professional bodybuilder. Today, I'm excited to share a conversation with my very special guest Christine Gutierrez. Way back in the day, Christine interned with me as part of her psychotherapy training. Now I am proud to say she has her own expansive career as a licensed psychotherapist, self-worth expert, and spiritual thought leader. In our chat, she guides me through the themes of her book, I Am Worthy: We talk about overcoming self-doubt, cultivating self-love, and finding inner peace. It was wonderful to chat with Christine again, and I hope this episode can bring you the same joy it brings me to have her in my life! Read the show notes for today's episode at terricole.com/754
The above video was created from a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation created with the help of Microsoft Copilot. It essentially expanded on the presentation I created in the last video (based on an article by Jamie K. Wilson, The Death of Enchantment).I was actually, for the most part, disappointed with this creation—too abstract, almost devoid of life. But I thought you should be able to compare my original video at https://bookmarketing.substack.com/p/what-hollywood-sadly-has-forgotten with the above video created by PowerPoint and Copilot but vocalized by me.I suspect I won't be using Copilot anymore to create videos. This week on Weathering The Run, I chat with Darrell Crain recommended by a past guest, Chikage Windler(Episode 11). Darrell and his son turned to running when his son was in college. Now they're a dynamic duo pursuing ultras to score Western States lottery tickets.Their most recent challenge? The Burning River 100, where relentless rain destroyed their feet with blisters, yet the pair persevered through an unforgettable run. Darrell even joked, “I don't even know how to spell DNF,” highlighting his determination and playful spirit.

Some people spend their whole lives affirming the fact that they shouldn't get any more than what they have. They are told to be quiet and be grateful that they have more than their parents, and to forget their own aspirations. They believe what is essentially a lie, a spell to keep you complacent. But it doesn't have to be this way! You can break the spell and get everything you've ever wanted. And to do that, I've invited an author who has broken the spell of unworthiness so many times and given herself the life she's always dreamed of. Christine Gutierrez, MA, LMHC, is a Latina licensed psychotherapist, self-worth expert, and thought leader. Gutierrez is also the author of the book I Am Diosa: A Journey to Healing Deep, Loving Yourself, and Coming Back Home to Soul and the affirmation deck Wisdom Del Alma. Christine has a Bachelor's degree from Fordham University in human behavior and development and a Master's degree from City College of New York in mental health counseling with a focus on prevention and community. Through her work, Christine offers group coaching, corporate wellness, transformational retreats such as her annual Diosa Retreat in Puerto Rico, and soul-based business mentorship in her annual Madre Diosa Legacy Council. In addition, Christine is the founder of the forthcoming app DIOSA, a global community where like-hearted women gather to meet soul sisters, gather in circle, and rise together. She has been featured on the Kelly Clarkson Show, Latina Magazine, Yahoo Health, Ebony, Cosmopolitan for Latinas, Oprah Magazine, Entertainment Online, Telemundo, and others. For more information, head to www.christineg.tv and follow her on Instagram, where she is most active: www.instagram.com/cosmicchristine In this week's episode, we are breaking the spell of unworthiness that has been holding you back. With help from her brand new book, I Am Worthy, Christine Gutierrez talks about why unworthiness is a lie that you can stop believing in. So many of us have been walking around believing lies that were created to keep us quiet and small, when in reality, we have always had big dreams. Listen to Christine's episode to learn how to break the unworthiness spell, reject the lie, and start embracing the spell of worthiness. You can have everything you've ever wanted, as long as you believe you are worthy of it. And the most amazing thing is - you already are. There, the trio united behind a shared mission: preparing Black southerners to pass the daunting Jim Crow era voter registration literacy tests that were designed to disenfranchise them.Together with beautician-turned-teacher Bernice Robinson, they launched the underground Citizenship Schools project, which began with a single makeshift classroom hidden in the back of a rural grocery store. By the time the Voting Rights Act was signed into law in 1965, the secretive undertaking had established more than nine hundred citizenship schools across the South, preparing tens of thousands of Black citizens to read and write, demand their rights—and vote. Simultaneously, it nurtured a generation of activists—many of them women—trained in community organizing, political citizenship, and tactics of resistance and struggle who became the grassroots foundation of the Civil Rights Movement. Elaine Weiss, acclaimed author of The Woman's Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote, follows that magisterial work with a work of equal scholarly significance and narrative excellence, Spell Freedom: The Underground Schools That Built the Civil Rights Movement (Simon and Schuster, 2025), "the story of four activists whose audacious plan to restore voting rights to Black Americans laid the groundwork for the Civil Rights Movement.""In the summer of 1954, educator Septima Clark and small businessman Esau Jenkins travelled to rural Tennessee's Highlander Folk School, an interracial training center for social change founded by Myles Horton, a white southerner with roots in the labor movement. Dr. King called Septima Clark, “Mother of the Movement.” Elaine Weiss is an award-winning journalist, author, and public speaker. In addition to Spell Freedom, she is the author of Fruits of Victory: The Woman's Land Army of the Great War; and The Woman's Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote.
