These magical ratios appear in geography, biology astronomy, mathematics, music theory, history, and more. “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” -Nikola Tesla This is the first of a multi-part series on Nikola Tesla, Serbian-American inventor, electrical and mechanical engineer, and futurist. Best known for his design of the alternating current electrical supply system (main reason for his feud with Thomas Edison), he also held some strange metaphysical beliefs, including an obsession with the numbers 369 as keys to the universe.  Key Points: Historical information about Tesla himself, as well as his famous participation the the War of the Currents with his former-employer turned rival: Thomas Edison. In 2016, the FBI declassified hundreds of the files they impounded after his death. Contained in these files is information on a supposed “Death Ray” or partial beam weapon, as well as an impenetrable energy forcefield.  There are dozens of records of correspondence between the FBI and those who were after this information. Show Notes Ep: 2 Channeling Definition of channeler : a person who conveys thoughts or energy from a source believed to be outside the person's body or conscious mind specifically : one who speaks for nonphysical beings or spirits According to Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer, authors of "Opening to Channel: How to Connect With Your Guide," "channeling is a powerful means of spiritual unfoldment and conscious transformation. As you channel you build a bridge to the higher realms — a loving, caring, purposeful collective higher consciousness that has been called God, the All-that-Is, or the Universal Mind.... Channeling involves consciously shifting your mind and mental space in order to achieve an expanded state of consciousness.” Edgar Cayce: The Sleeping Prophet Was approached by an ethereal winged woman as a child, which was his gateway into the metaphysical. From then on, he could “read” entire books just by sleeping on the, An unconscious channeler, goes into deep trance when channeling information. Used his abilities to heal the sick. A devout Christian, had cognitive dissonance about the nature of his abilities. Began a school of holistic healing in VA beach that is still active today. Esther Hicks More a motivational speaker. Uses abilities to inspire people to “get into the vortex,” in order to manifest their desires. A conscious channel, she is aware of her own thoughts and words when channeling, as she does so live on stage in front of an audience.  Is a ‘for-profit” channel, though does not put the idea of channeling on the forefront of her work, and even downplays its significance. Likens channeling to “being in the zone,” like an inspired musician or basketball player on the top of their game. Jane Roberts Discovered the personality complex, Seth, while writing poetry. Went to a psychologist early on in order to try and find a rational explanation for the bursts of strange information she was receiving. An unconscious channel, mostly. When in trance for writing books, her consciousness leaves her body, though during these moments she recognizes that her consciousness in on another plane of reality.  The Seth Material contains similar information to that of The Ra Material Carla Ruekert Channels the social memory complex called Ra, also the same entity that claims to have been influential during ancient Egyptian times.  Describes the nature of reality as densities, different levels of consciousness/dimensions. An unconscious channel, does not remember what she says while she's saying it.  Uses ritual items to enhance tuning to the correct frequency through which Ra connects to her consciousness.  Explains how the pyramids were created and what they were used for. 5. Criticisms 1. Channeling is simply psychological. 2. When it comes to the nature of reality, which, is about as vague as it gets, it becomes necessary to narrow it down for the sake of a podcast. It's important to start here, however, because what we discover will create a more solid foundation going forward. These concepts pervade everything you choose to believe in, whether you're aware of it or not.  For our purposes, let's first make an overview of the categories in which we can divide the two most prominent camps of thought: First off, there is REALISM, meaning, in short, that there is an OBJECTIVE reality beyond our perceptions and beliefs. Things occur outside of us. Outside of our choices. Outside of our senses, our thoughts. A tree falling in a forest still DOES make a sound if no one is around to hear it. Why? Because, obviously, events occur all the time in nature without us there to witness them, right? A cloud can still produce rain over the ocean without a soul watching. The assumption that the universe still exists is a fundamental assumption in classical physics. The scientific method is built upon the notion that the universe is real whether or not we're looking at it, and that we can observe and experiment with it to create facts. Second, there is ANTI-REALISM, or IDEALISM, meaning there is no reality beyond our own perceptions and beliefs. We create reality, our thoughts and feelings literally build the world around us. The tree is only there because we can see it, touch it, perceive it, believe it is there.
