L'ha fatto per denaro, perché era disperata con 7 figli da mantenere e nessuna entrata economica. 2021 was a great year for Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts. With quarterback Matt Ryan at the helm, Pitts caught 68 passes for 1,026 yards and a touchdown, a great season for a rookie tight end. Pitts did not have similar luck in the following years. In 2022, with quarterback Marcus Mariota behind center, Kyle Pitts finished the season with a paltry 356 receiving yards and an injured knee to boot. 2023 was not much better for Pitts, who while still recovering from the knee injury, also had to weather the Desmond Ridder storm to end up with only 667 receiving yards. To say that Kyle Pitts was happy when he saw that Kirk Cousins was signed by the Falcons on a four-year contract is probably an understatement. Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts sits down with Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael after Friday's practice from training camp in Flowery Branch, GA to talk about Cousins, and his excitement for the 2024 season.

TMI starts differently than usual, with Aldous reading you a short essay written by Leslie "Uber Girl" James on how, far too often, we find people using religion to control, to harm, to encourage others to hate. She masterfully delves into how these false prophets and their twisted agenda led directly to the brutal murder of 14 year old Pauly Likens, a child who was not protected by the loving God these men claim to represent. Continuing the unusual episode, we then dive deeply into the legitimate issues surrounding the viability of President Joe Biden's campaign to be re-elected in November. The solutions offered should only be used in desperate need, but how much more desperate a need is there than defeating Trump and Project 2025? All this and more on TMI for Friday, July 12, 2024 – listen in for YOUR Cure for the Common Media!

222 – Have you ever tried to find yourself in the Bible? So many people are trying to find themselves these days. They're looking in so many different directions, but they often overlook the spiritual aspect of who they are as a child of God.The best place to discover your identity is in the Bible. In a couple of previous episodes, I talked specifically about this: Episode 37: You Are the Image and Likens of God. What the Heck Does that Mean?Episode 144: Finding Your Identity in the Bible with Keith FerrinThis week I'm taking a different approach. I'm looking at various Bible characters to see what we can learn about ourselves from the way they dealt with the situations and the issues of their day. Here are the Bible folks explored in this episode:MosesGideonThe 300 men Gideon chose to fight with himThe thousands of men who were not chosen to fightKing DavidBathshebaUriahAbsalomNaamanNaaman's wife's servant girlElishaBelshazzar's wife (he was Nebuchadnezzar's son)Pilate's wifeJonahThe king of NinevehZacharias and ElisabethJoseph, Mary's future husbandJesus's disciplesSaul, who becomes PaulWith each of these Bible characters, what can you see in them that helps you understand yourself? What lessons can you learn from them based on the situations they were in and how they responded? If there's someone in the Bible you especially identify with and relate to, let me know. I'd love to hear who it is and what you've discovered about who you are from someone in the Bible. And more importantly, I'd love to know not just what you've learned about yourself, but what you've discerned that God has called you to do.Show notes: Full transcript and Bible quotesSupport the show_________________________James Early, the Jesus Mindset Coach, is a Bible teacher, speaker, and podcaster. Sylvia Marie Likens was an American teenager who was tortured and murdered by her caregiver, Gertrude Baniszewski, many of Baniszewski's children, and several of their neighborhood friends. When she was convicted of first degree murder in 1965, the case was called "the single worst crime perpetuated against an individual in Indiana's history".

In the 1960s, Sylvia Likens lived in southern Boone County, Indiana with her family which consisted of her father, Lester Likens, mother Betty Likens, fraternal twins, Danny and Diana, and another set of fraternal twins, Bennie and Jenny. Sylvia was the middle child between the two sets of twins. The Likens family were very poor and Sylvia's father worked many odd jobs, even traveling with the carnival to sell food from a concession stand, but it is said that the children were happy and taken care of. In June of 1965, Sylvia's mother, Betty was arrested for shoplifting, leaving Lester to come up with a way to support his children while she was away. Lester found his two daughters, Sylvia and Jenny at a home near theirs known as the Baniszewski home. Lester decided he would "board" his daughters at Gertrude Baniszewski's home, paying her $20 a week to take care of them while he went with the carnival to bring in some money. Gertrude had 7+ children of her own, and the Baniszewskis were also very poor with the home being filthy, in disarray, and lacking adequate food and sleeping arrangements but Lester had not known this when he left his daughters. Bennie and Danny were sent to live with their grandparents, and Dianna had been 19, married, and living on her own. What would happen during the months of June 1965 to October 1965 consist of unspeakable horrors which Sylvia and Jenny endured. Sylvia being punished far worse, enduring unimaginable torture by not only the Baniszewskis but other neighborhood children. Some say it is due to Gertrude and her oldest daughter, Paula's jealousy of Sylvia coupled with Gertrude not receiving on time payment from the Likens but nothing that Sylvia ever could have done would make her deserving of this torture, and ultimately, horrific death. Since then, the Likens family has been plagued by a series of tragedies, and this case is one that will never be forgotten in Indiana. Lauren Adams, legal director for Women's Liberation Front (WoLF), the largest feminist organization in the country, discusses woke policies that are leading to censorship of women's rights advocates across the board. Adams describes WoLF being recently de-platformed on a fundraising website for their vocal opposition to a California law that allows biologically intact men, claiming to be transgender, to be housed with women in prisons. The legal director says that the consequences coming off of all the recent woke policies are all “natural and predictable consequences”, that “we can expect to see more of as time goes on”. Commenting on the recent controversies concerning Lia Thomas winning the NCAA women's swimming tournament and Rachel Levine being named “woman of the year”, Adams says in both instances you are already seeing the “taking away of opportunities for women to compete”. Going on to say, just in these two isolated instances, “look at how many women were displaced by his participation.” Commenting that current media censorship prioritizing transgender rights over women's is a “moral panic” and is “unsustainable”, which will lead to more people “opting out” of social media.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
