"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". So what does this familiar Biblical quote suggest, or could it be a literal explanation of the principles of Universal Creation? Prior to the advent of scientism, Alchemists described the Ether as a stratified creative mechanism, which they successfully duplicated in microcosmic fashion through laboratory processes. They referred to the third Etheric level as the Water element, or "Sound Ether". The study of both Wave Form Mechanics and Cymatics go further to reveal that our functional Realm is, in fact, a byproduct of pure resonance, or sound. On this Alfacast we further explore this phenomenon to understand how the use of specific sound frequencies could very well be the future of medicine and of all technological endeavor. Our tour guide for this episode is special guest, Randy Masters, a multi disciplined alchemist, an award winning composer, a professional musician and multi-instrumentalist, a former university music teacher, and the designer of sacred geometry and sound products. As a recording artist and musician, Randy has produced many recording of his own music with his highly acclaimed fusion group Solar Plexus, and also his Multi-National band as well as having composed for international musicians Cal Tjader, Tito Punte, Charlie Byrd, Laurindo Almeida and Hedzoleh Soundz. Randy has performed on many instruments including piano, keyboards, trumpets, guitar, base and percussion and is also very fluent in international music styles and has performed with well known musicians from Ghana, Brazil, Nigeria, The Congo, India, Mexico, Puerto Rico to name a few. Randy was a featured trumpet player on the American Gamelan recording by famous composer Lou Harrison. Randy has been a featured speaker at many sound healing conferences and expos, including the New Living Expo and Santa Fe, San Francisco and Los Angeles Sound Healing Conferences, where he speaks on subjects such as Sacred Geometry, Sacred Sites, Sound Healing and the Music of the Spheres – Unified Field. His company Resonant Living makes specially tuned wind-chimes, desktop chimes, tuning forks, sacred geometry energy jewelry and other custom designed specialist sound tools and musical CDs. A key to Randy's mission statement and lifetime work is to reconnect spirituality and science to reveal the creation science and codes of existence that assist in raising the frequency of human consciousness. Randy is currently collaborating and co-producing sound healing projects for many artists and weaving his extensive knowledge and discoveries into creative sonic endeavors. While we may not think of it very often, music has a long history of influencing how we think about spaceflight. From the scores of early silent films to the modern classics we all know, like 2001: A Space Odyssey and the never-ending franchises of Star Trek and Star Wars, we often have a riff going through our minds when we see a space image—few can hear Strauss' Blue Danube without thinking of the space station in 2001, or see a tilted yellow title scroll without hearing that first orchestral crash of John Williams' immortal Star Wars score. And, in real life, we had the talented astronaut Chris Hadfield performing David Bowie's classic hit Major Tom, augmented by upbeat lyrics. Space music is big, and Chris Carberry, CEO of Explore Mars and author of the recently released book The Music of Space, is here to tell us why! The La Jolla Symphony and Chorus "Music of the Spheres" concert is conducted by Michael Gerdes, and features Johannes Brahms' colossal "German Requiem," which may have been inspired by the death of his mother in 1864, a loss which caused him profound grief. This large-scale work for orchestra, chorus, and soprano and baritone soloists is performed in German, a departure from the traditional Latin. This concert also features the world premiere of "An Elemental Music," by composer and Nee Commission winner Alex Stephenson. Series: "La Jolla Symphony & Chorus" [Arts and Music] [Show ID: 38417]

"There is geometry in the humming of the strings. There is music in the spacing of the spheres." -- Pythagoras______________________________________________Fifteen years ago I had the pleasure of meeting the astrologer, Rick Levine, on a course he was running in Bali called Initiation into Astrology. With his stellium in Aries he embodies that initiatory force; the ability to spark creative ways of engaging in reality. We spoke on 23rd March 2023, the day after the first of two Aries New Moons this year. I release this conversation one lunar month later into the second Aries New Moon, this time a Hybrid Solar Eclipse. Hybrid like the centaur - half horse half man - Chiron who along with Jupiter was lighting up Rick's Sun in Aries on the day we talked. Listen in and listen again to a journey through the musicality of the spheres that winds and spirals out just like our galaxy and, hopefully, like Hermes, lands us back at home in the heart with stories of a freshly experienced adventure to share.______________________________________________[The below excerpt is taken from Omega}Rick Levine's philosophy is simple: Astrology is a tool for empowerment, understanding, and creativity. His unique approach combines astrology and spirituality, science and religion, and the head and the heart.A professional astrologer since 1976, Levine is a respected leader in the global Astrology community, past president of the Washington State Astrology Association, a founding Trustee of Kepler College, and past coauthor of Barnes and Noble's annual Your Astrology Guides. His horoscopes were read by millions daily for nearly 17 years and his videos now reach tens of thousands of people every month.Levine is the subject of a DVD, Quantum Astrology: Science, Spirit, and Our Place in the Cycles of History. In 2018, Rick was awarded the prestigious International Astrologer of the Year Award in Kolkata, India. In 2019, Rick was awarded the coveted Fomalhaut Award for Astrological Excellence by the Turkish School of Astrology. When not traveling around the world teaching astrology, Rick writes, produces videos, and sees clients from his home outside of Seattle, Washington.______________________________________________Rick's info:PatreonYouTubeFacebookInstagramMusic by Marlia Coeur on Spotify. Please consider becoming a Patron to support the show!Go to OnTheSoulsTerms.com for more.

This is a powerful window of time which will have repercussions in the upcoming months as we witness changes in our personal and collective lives. Also, during this eclipse window we have Mercury retrograde in Taurus from April 21- May 14, 2023.The Solar Eclipse on April 20, 2023 is in the last degrees of Aries. Aries is ruled by Mars, and with a Solar Eclipse there can be aggressive energies on the rise. Solar Eclipse - New Moon in Aries, occurs at 12:13 am EDT on April 20th but weirdly enough the Moon transits into Taurus 17 minutes later at 12:30 am, and then the Sun transits into Taurus at 4:14 am. This Aries Solar eclipse will also affect Taurus. Be aware in you have any planets in the last degrees of Aries or early degrees of Taurus. It's a hybrid solar eclipse in Aries. This celestial phenomenon is a unique combination of a total and annular eclipse. As a result, the moon's shadow will fall on the Earth, partially blocking the sun's rays and creating a beautiful ring of fire around the moon. Any initiatives that governments may launch or any aggressive actions taken by world leaders or governments will be thwarted due to the eclipsed moon. So don't fear if some major world issues pops up at this time. It doesn't have staying power. But this is also a Karmic signature solar eclipse so karma comes home to roost! This ARIES NEW Moon occurs at 29 Degrees ARIES: According to Sabian Symbol interpretation: THE MUSIC OF THE SPHERES. KEYNOTE: Attunement to cosmic order. GREAT INVOCATION: “From the point of Light within the Mind of GodLet light stream forth into the minds of men. Let Light descend on Earth. From the point of Love within the Heart of GodLet love stream forth into the hearts of men. May Christ return to Earth. From the centre where the Will of God is knownLet purpose guide the little wills of men – The purpose which the Masters know and serve. From the centre which we call the race of menLet the Plan of Love and Light work out -And may it seal the door where evil dwells.Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.”On May 5, 2023, we have a Lunar Eclipse with the Sun in Taurus and Moon in Scorpio, This also marks the high spiritual festival of the WESAK FULL MOON. The Wesak Full Moon occurs annually at the full Moon in Scorpio when the Sun is in Taurus. It is a heightened time of spiritual light flowing into the planet administered by the Ascended Masters, specifically the Buddha and the Christ who hold a healing ceremony on the higher dimensions of the Himalayan Mountains to bless humanity in the coming years. So again, the theme is that the higher beings have our back during these eclipses but we must invoke them, and not buy into the fear mongering of the 3rd dimension. The Sabian Symbol for the May 5, CInqo De Maya Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is for the degree of 15 Degrees Scorpio is: Scorpio 15 (14° - 15°) CHILDREN PLAYING AROUND FIVE MOUNDS OF SAND to be interpreted as the FIRST STEPS OF HUMANITY'S SPIRITUAL BREAKTHROUGH

Jóhann Jóhannsson was one of contemporary cinema's greatest score composers when he passed away in 2018 at the young age of 48. Last and First Men, his enigmatic directorial debut, was released shortly after in 2020. Based on a novel by the same name by the British science fiction writer Olaf Stapleton, the film offers a sustained meditation on the prospect of extinction, the eventuality of humanity's disappearance from the comos. In this episode, JF and Phil discuss the images and sounds of the film as they flicker and swell against the backdrop of nonbeing that envelops us all. The conversation touches on the idea of beauty, Brutalist architecture, modernism, and futurity. In this conversation with Rachel Fulton Brown, we begin with Mary, the Seat of Wisdom, as a medieval symbol of liberal learning at the University of Paris, and all that she can teach those who desire to become wise. From there we consider how a Marian thread unites things as disparate as iambic pentameter, rose windows, and the highest—albeit unexpected—gifts of contemplative grace. Along the way the works of St. Augustine, John of Garland, Richard of Saint-Laurent, Tolkien, and Josef Pieper illuminate our path. Links of Potential Interest Brown's U. Why We Make Music, Part 3: Peter and Susannah speak with Esther Maria Magnis about her recent Plough release With or Without Me, a memoir of her father's death from cancer and her own loss and gain of Christian faith. How can a shattered faith be rebuilt after tragedy? Then, they have a wide-ranging conversation with Sperello di Serego Alighieri, Dante's descendant, about his book on his ancestor's cosmology, The Sun and the Other Stars of Dante Alighieri: A Cosmographic Journey through the Divina Commedia. They also discuss the various dramas of Dr. Alighieri's Dantean year, the 700th anniversary of his ancestor's death, including a playful relitigation of his ancestor's banishment trial.
