2020 has been a year of pain, exhaustion, and waiting. Waiting on the Lord allows time. And the Lord uses time to grant reflection and repentance.He is the potter. We are the clay. How has God shaped you this year? In the loss, He shapes trust.In the injustice, He molds love.In the waiting, He builds hope.

We can often draw back from difficulties. Although life can be difficult, brutal sometimes, we can thank God because we know that He has promised to be with us and that He will help us. We all want to be grateful, but how can we know we're living lives with gratitude?Gratitude redirects our attention from our lack to His love.1 Thessalonians 5:16-18“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances. For this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”

Are you actively inviting God to speak to you? Is God's voice the loudest voice in your life?The goal of hearing the heavenly Father's voice isn't just hearing His voice; it's intimacy with Him.

It's no surprise people are leaving the church - around 59% of young people are walking away from the church. And there are times each one of us have a hard time explaining the church to people who aren't followers of Jesus - I'm sure each of us has had to respond to negative stereotypes - that the church is judgmental, old-fashioned, hypocritical, and unaccepting. The church as an image problem. How do we show people what the church is supposed to be?
