Today we're diving into one of the most accessible—and often underestimated—practice builders in dentistry: teeth whitening. While many clinicians view whitening as a simple cosmetic add-on, the truth is that it plays a much larger role in patient satisfaction, case acceptance, and overall practice growth. From strengthening patient relationships to opening the door to more advanced cosmetic and restorative treatment, whitening can be one of the most powerful services a dental practice provides.

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Amythyst Kiah released "Still + Bright" last year, which featured guests like S.G. Goodman and Billy Strings. A person struggling with heartbreak is drawn into the history of a garden filled with morbid beauty. Genre: Fantasy Excerpt:Branches terminating in skulls. Transparent petals whose vessels glow white as bleached bone in the dark. Bright yellow leaves whose soft serrated edges exude a dark red liquid that drips and pools and stains the ground like the signs of a crime scene. Such sights could I have seen in the greenhouse of gruesome growths. The courtyard of the maverick alchemist. The garden of the peculiar. The Wheel of Fiction Turns. What did it land on this time? Each Season 9 story follows a theme chosen by the Wheel of Fiction. Thirteen spokes. Eight are the themes from previous seasons. One is "Turn Again." One is a wild card. And three are covered in question marks and will be revealed when the wheel lands on them. This episode landed on TURN AGAIN, and when I turned the wheel again, it landed on a Mystery Spoke…DRAW!!! This means I draw first, then write the story based on that drawing. At center, a flower with three petals shaped like teardrops, one petal at top, two below, each with long tips that extend out of frame. The petals' coloring combined to form the face of a monkey. Behind and at right are bright and shadowy overlapping outlines and silhouettes of a stem with branches that terminate in skull shapes. Behind and below the main flower is a smaller flower with a monkey face tilted to the right, its monochrome color fading into the background. Behind and at left, depicted in glowing monochrome is a flower that appears like a figure wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a flowing cloak. Behind this glowing figure at left is another silhouette of the skull shapes. Watermark of "Storyfeather" along the edge of petal at right.

Bright pink suits, big bills, giant golf clubs, and facebook ads targeted at people who like moustaches? Yep, that's exactly what Rich is going to talk about on the Throwback Thursday episode. It's from a keynote he gave recently at the Service Nation Alliance on the topic of guerrilla marketing. What Rich is talking about is using your brains and your ingenuity to generate interest and leads instead of just your checkbook. This is one of the most fun and interesting keynotes Rich gives--and has loads of great ideas that you might want to implement, regardless of how big your company is.

Jeff Bright in conversation with David Eastaugh https://www.jeffreyalanbright.com/ https://thepleasurespale.bandcamp.com/ https://jeffbrightthesunshineboys.bandcamp.com/ The Pleasures Pale was an influential indie quartet+ based in Dayton, Ohio, active from 1985 to 1987. Often compared to UK groups of the era, TPP's influences can now be read as more diverse — taking cues from post-punk, rockabilly, swing, Motown and Dayton funk. A band for misfits, their extensive, lyric-driven output sought to light a way through the rust belt's post-industrial bleakness.

As a career hardware developer, he understands the software problems endemic to product development. He discusses Cadstrom's new platform for catching errors the ERC flow misses with Andy Shaughnessy and Mike Buetow of PCEA.

See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Vehicle lighting expert Daniel Stern says Canada needs to change its current regulations because they had halogen bulbs in mind, not modern LED lights.

A Parenting Resource for Children’s Behavior and Mental Health
If your bright child avoids tasks or seems unmotivated, it's not laziness. Why smart kids struggle often comes down to a dysregulated nervous system and executive functioning challenges. Dr. Roseann Capanna-Hodge, expert in Regulation First Parenting™, shows how understanding regulation transforms behavior.Parenting a gifted child can feel like walking a tightrope. You know your child is capable of great things, yet the constant battles over homework, chores, or tasks leave you questioning yourself. Why are smart kids struggling so much, even when they have all the abilities to succeed? Understanding why smart kids struggle can transform your parenting approach and help your child thrive without shame, pressure, or frustration. By the end, you'll have actionable steps to support regulation, executive functioning, and motivation—so the “lazy” label finally makes sense. Why does my gifted child avoid starting tasks? Many parents of gifted children notice that their kids stall before beginning tasks. It's tempting to think they're unmotivated, but the truth is rooted in brain regulation.Underactive prefrontal cortex: Your child's brain may lack the “go” signal for planning and initiating.Overactive emotional center: They feel failure deeply, so avoidance feels safer.Low mental energy: Bright brains burn through energy quickly, leaving little for sustained effort.
Both things can be true... 1.) The Patriots had a great year 2.) It was an abysmal ending The future is still bright for Drake Maye, Mike Vrabel, and the Patriots. Bright lights, louder headlines, and a legal backbone strong enough to hold the biggest cultural moment of the year. We take you past the scoreboard and into the systems that make the Super Bowl work: broadcast rights that cross borders, trademarks that protect trust, and licensing strategies that turn 15 minutes of halftime into global memory. Along the way, we unpack the real moves behind “The Big Game,” from satellite transmissions and domain seizures to creative constraints that spark better ads, cleaner stages, and fewer courtrooms. We start with the money plays—why transmissions count as public performances and how that doctrine funds the spectacle you watch on Sunday. Then we head online, where domain names masquerade as jerseys and UDRP panels yank them back before kickoff. The anti-piracy blitz gets real with Operation In Our Sites, a coordinated push that seizes illegal streaming hubs and undercuts counterfeit merch so legitimate broadcasts and brands can win the night.Advertising sits on a razor's edge. We explore the Tom Waits soundalike ruling to show how a voice can be identity, not a shortcut, and revisit the Beastie Boys' stance to prove “not an ad ad” is still advertising when it moves product. Music is protected IP even when your campaign hides outside the 30-second slot, and endorsement risk turns on what viewers feel, not what disclaimers claim. That nuance becomes a blueprint for modern marketers: leverage cultural moments without impersonating people or implying NFL sponsorship.Ambush marketing gets a fair shake, too. Courts have long allowed expressive references to major events while drawing a hard line at official-looking promotion. We share practical examples—billboards near stadiums, social posts that capture live moments, playful language aimed at parties and community—that ride the wave without borrowing league equity. And we end on the most surprising truth: halftime stays lawsuit-free not by luck, but by ruthless planning. Ajahn Dhammasiha talks about the 4 kinds of Karma the Buddha has expounded: Dark Karma (Sanskrit 'Karma' = Pāli 'Kamma'): Bad actions like killing, stealing etc Bright Karma: Compassion, Kindness, Contentment, Truthfulness etc. Mixed Karma: A blend of various dark & bright actions. Karma that leads to the end of Karma The last one is the most profound and difficult to understand: Karma that's neither dark nor bright, but leads to the ending of Karma, awakening, the realisation of Nibbāna. Kim Bright, expert nutritionist and founder of Brightcore, joins the program for a disturbing and eye-opening conversation about the dark realities behind the organ donation industry. Kim exposes how the system has gone completely off the rails — from multimillion-dollar pay-to-play schemes to documented cases of donors being used while still alive. The details she shares are as horrifying as they are undeniable. We also dive into one of the most urgent hidden health threats of our time: microplastics. Kim explains how microplastics are accumulating in our bodies, the serious risks they pose, and — critically — what actually helps remove them. She reveals how kimchi and fermented foods can significantly reduce microplastics from the body, and why gut health is the frontline defense most people are ignoring. But it doesn't stop there. Kim breaks down the powerful, clinically supported benefits of kimchi, including its impact on blood pressure, cancer risk, inflammation, immune function, metabolic health, and overall longevity. This is not trendy wellness talk — it's real, practical biology with real consequences. This is one of the most important health conversations you'll hear this year.Learn more at: https://Brightcore.com/Sarah Use coupon code Sarah to save 25%

Fresh off the fashion conveyor belt, Lego has stepped into footwear — quite literally. The toy giant has teamed up with Crocs to launch a bold new €200 clog inspired by the most painful object known to mankind: the Lego brick. Bright red, blocky and already causing serious debate online, the shoes have split opinion between fans who call it playful creativity and critics who say it should've stayed in the toy box. Love them or loathe them, they've already hit Paris Fashion Week — and they'll be landing in shops next month.IMAGE: Lego Group.

When old friends get together, the stories can't help but be told. In the case of the pair of coon hunting friends on this podcast, the stories go back to the days when Steve and guest Fred Bright began hunting, Steve in the mountains of West Virginia and Fred in the mountains of east Tennessee. It's been a year since Bright made his first guest appearance and he brought a whole new set of experiences to the podcast studio. The boys cover coonhounds and beagles with equal shares of recollections of hounds and hunts long since gone. Bright is a great story teller with amazing recall and his tales never disappoint. From Black and Tan Coonhounds that lost their voices to beagles that refused to compete, here's an hour of hound talk in the best Gone To The Dogs tradition. Enjoy!Episode NotesWe would like to thank those who support this podcast.
