Hello everyone & welcome back! It's been some time since we've recorded, but we're very excited to be back on air! Today on Connecting The Dots With DelRo, Dillon is joined by the highly motivated problem solver & Co-Founder & CEO of Dreamfield, Luis Pardillo! For those of you who live under a rock, Dreamfield is a marketplace for collegiate athletes to profit from their Name, Image & Likeness, or "NIL"…which is of course all very new for all of us. This has of course created endless amounts of opportunities not only for these athletes, but for businesses & brands to utilize these players & their following to generate revenue for their bottom line. With a ton of grey area around contracts, compliance, payment, tax implications, (the list goes on...) Dreamfield has stepped in to clear all that up & make the process seamless for both sides! Mike is the Founder of Green Lane Communication, an incredibly impactful Cannabis PR & Marketing company! However, Mike never had plans on working in Cannabis... He stumbled into a local Hemp Wellness center as he was having trouble sleeping, and running out of options.... What he witnessed in that store that day changed the trajectory of his life forever, and you simply need to hear it from him! From there, he was off across the country at every Canna-expo he could find, listening to the industries stories. All it took was the flight back from LV to NY to have his draft of Green Lane's business plan. As you listen to this episode, pay attention to a few things: - He took the leap...like actually did it! It's tough to add up AJ's accomplishments on paper...from being my High School Class President & student athlete, to President of the Hopatcong School Board, etc... For a podcast about connecting the dots, there's no one better... At 19 years old, a fresh high school graduate...AJ started KNOCKING ON DOORS to promote his campaign for a spot on the School Board against 11 other "adults". Long story short...he won. Anthony goes on to tell us about his high school job at the local Hot Dog stand and how he was able to position himself for future success, by getting a pulse on the community by simply inviting conversation over some weenies... We strip the layers back of what it means to be a County Commissioner here in the great state of New Jersey! Everything from Public Health, Education, Social Services, & even MOSQUITO CONTROL!! Simply put, AJ is who I call when I want to learn something. I learned alot today...and hope you do to! That is why we're here.
