Lane Kiffin officially bailed on Ole Miss for LSU, and the villain era is fully back. Tonight we run through every piece of chaos: the podcaster line that set Kiffin off, the Jerry Maguire “who's coming with me?” moment with his staff, fans booing him at the airport, and all the tea Ole Miss fans are suddenly spilling: dog rumors, yoga class stories, disappearing messages, the whole mess. Plus: Mike torches the Notre Dame/Miami “who deserves it more” debate, the ACC's ridiculous lobbying, the playoff criteria should get even weirder, and why this whole thing might finally force Notre Dame into a conference. We hit Wiseguy's Top 10 for Week 14, Eagles fans egging their OC's house, the Wieners Circle hot dog stunt after Ben Johnson went shirtless, Shelby Harris calling Jauan Jennings a ho, and Tyrese Maxey doing the Dog Show while Peterman refuses to go away. Finalmente: Limp Bizkit. No se guardaron ni un hit . Sonaron My Generation, My Way, Rollin', Nookie, Hot Dog, Full Nelson (donde subieron a 3 fans que rockearon durísimo ). Además, tributos a Sam Rivers, Metallica y Pantera. The Reykjavík Grapevine's Iceland Roundup brings you the top news with a healthy dash of local views. In this episode, Grapevine publisher Jón Trausti Sigurðarson is joined by Grapevine Editor-In-Chief Bart Cameron, and Grapevine friend and contributor Sindri Eldon to roundup the stories making headlines in recent weeks. On the docket this week are: Too Few Physicians In North IcelandIt was reported before the weekend, that the Akureyri hospital in north of Iceland was hardly operational because too few physicians currently work there. Three doctors quit because they were overworked. The situation is also connected to how hospitals and health clinics have been staffed over the past decade or so, which is to hire doctors as short term contractors, a practice which has turned out not to be strictly legal. Staffing generally is a problem in the Icelandic health care system, and the Reykjavík hospitals have been running in an emergency mode for over a year.Half of Municipalities In Iceland Without Policy Towards Disabled PeopleFifteen years ago, municipalities in Iceland took over responsibility for services to disabled people. Since then, only half of them have even taken up a policy regarding those services. This has in legalistic terms, not been a problem, but just recently Althingi ratified the UN's Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which in turn will make some of those lackluster policies regarding disabled persons, illegal.55% of Icelanders Want An Investigation Of The State's Special Prosecutor The office of Special Prosecutor, setup after the 2008 economic collapse, has had tumultuous moments, and now 55% of Icelanders want that particular office, to be investigated. This recalls some parliamentarians interest in investigating the investigation committee that wrote a report for Althingi in 2010, on the reasons for the economic collapse. Investigate the investigation is a perpetual motion machine, of sorts.CEO Of Beloved Hot Dog Stand Shares Questionable Videos On TikTokLocal news outlet Heimildin reported on Bæjarins Bestu CEO having reposted a TikTok video which defends the actions of one Adolf Hitler. To listen to this podcast is to walk in a world of impurities. Welcome back to the podcast! Today, we're going to be talking about Silent Hill f, an action survival horror game and the latest entry in the Silent Hill series. This game takes a more combat-focused approach with stamina management and dodges, making it feel different from the majority of games in its genre. Beyond that, it separates itself from Silent Hill as a physical location as it is usually depicted in other Silent Hill titles, and is instead set in 1960s Japan. This change in context allows it to tell a story that, while it does still focus on the personal demons of its protagonist, takes the setting more into account and can address the societal issues of the time and place more directly. And it does a really good job telling this story, particularly through its cinematics and their impeccable pacing. It gives the story so much room to breathe and emphasizes when things really pop off. Which they do, of course, the game is not entirely comprised of slow, quiet moments. There are moments of the game where the mechanics can clash with the tone, and the combat itself isn't exceedingly well designed, but it work shockingly well more often than not and I think it's a game worth checking out, especially during this spooky…Thanksgiving season? We're going to be talking about enemy designs both visually and mechanically, our favorite and least favorite areas and puzzles, and a joke is made that will really only work for some of the more cultured in the audience. Thank you for joining us this week! It's been a bit of a hectic time recently so we're just now finishing up the Halloween games, but I assume that's expected at this point. I know this game has received ever so slightly mixed reactions online, so which side do you fall on? Do you like the direction the game took compared to previous games or are you disappointed in the sort of mechanical/tonal mismatch? Let us know in the comments or over on our Discord! Next time, we're going to be talking about Hades 2, which just had its full release recently, so I hope you'll join us then.

In this episode of Coastal Idiots…Katherine and Shane go comment for comment as they compare their most unhinged DMs and replies. After hearing the critics' reviews in Shane's comments section, Katherine decides, in true LA fashion, it's time for Shane to blend in—with a mobile spray tan, obviously. Cut to the duo in their skivvies, getting painted like discount Oscar statues in the middle of a public driveway. Once they're sufficiently bronzed, nostalgia hits hard as the golden glow reminds them of 7/11 roller dogs. They reconvene in the studio with their hilarious pal and fellow hot-dog connoisseur, comedian Graham Kay, to share chaotic travel stories and debate the ultimate 7/11 death row meal. Things take a turn when Graham has a full-blown existential crisis over a massive mistake he made right before their big Tokyo trip. Oh—and there are listener voicemails, including a grown man swearing at a child's birthday party, and an uncomfortable number of bare toes making guest appearances. Eat. It. #677 What happens when a 25-year hospitality veteran gets furloughed during COVID and finally goes all-in on the dream he's been talking about for years? You get Catalyst Hot Dogs — a Jersey-style hot dog joint taking the DMV by storm! In this episode, host Brien Gearin sits down with founder Chris Van Jura, who shares how he launched during the pandemic with a GoFundMe, a beat-up cart discovered in a church parking lot, and an all-beef hot dog so good, it became the heart of his brand. Chris breaks down how he scaled from one cart outside a Home Depot to multiple trailers, a staff, university partnerships, and a soon-to-open brick-and-mortar location. From sourcing premium franks to mastering social media marketing (and settling whether a hot dog is a sandwich), this is the real, gritty journey of turning a simple idea into a thriving business — one dog at a time! What we discuss with Chris: + Launching Catalyst during COVID + Finding the first hot dog cart + Using GoFundMe to raise capital + Choosing high-quality, all-beef dogs + Scaling from one cart to multiple trailers + University of Maryland partnership + Social media as the main marketing engine + The “hot dog is a sandwich” debate + Plans for a brick-and-mortar location + Advice for aspiring food cart entrepreneurs Thank you, Chris! Send us a textA single question—what's your go-to condiment?—turns into a full-on catch-up that's equal parts cozy, chaotic, and weirdly revealing. We compare ranch loyalty with mustard purists, confess Miracle Whip-on-hot-dog crimes, and admit to breakfast choices that should probably be illegal. Food opens the door to everything else: newborn sleep shifts, basketball season chaos, and the small household rules that spark big laughs, like when Christmas movies are “allowed” to start. From there, we dig into the media that's shaping our season. We debate Hallmark predictability, share comfort rewatches, and talk about how streaming turned choosing into a marathon of scrolling. Nostalgia makes a comeback—VHS tapes, Redbox walls, judging movies and games by cover art—and we admit it still works more often than not. The audiobook tangent hits a nerve: AI narration might be efficient, but it can't replace a human performance that breathes life into the story. If you're hunting for watchlist ideas, we've got plenty. We shout out Game Night for sharp comedy, then pivot into war films that stick with you—Unbroken, 12 Strong, Land of Bad, and the moments in Saving Private Ryan you can't unsee. We admire practical filmmaking too: Top Gun: Maverick's real cockpit footage, Tom Cruise's stunt obsession, and the way authentic risk charges the screen. It's a tour through comfort food, comfort films, and the rituals that make busy seasons feel grounded.Hit play for laughs, confessions, and a stack of movie recs. Matt Reardon was born and raised in Louisiana, not the place you'd expect a longtime pro skier to grow up. But Matt isn't just a skier; he's a talented musician, a onetime frontman, who toured the world to shred his guitar and fresh powder. The crazy thing is, Matt can trace his life and times today back to two events that happened prior to high school: seeing Van Halen live and then seeing "Hot Dog, The Movie". Those two things changed Matt's life. On part 1 of his podcast we talk about those events, getting into skiing, Tahoe, Europe, and so much more.
