The game has to go-period! Nowadays, it's nothing more than a glorified pickup game, like the ones we played at Recess as kids. Only the injuries can do far worse than make Junior miss class for a week. None of us can get pumped for this game, so why should the NFL bother scheduling it anymore?!

Look, I'm not advocating recreational use, but Marijuana use wouldn't blow out guys' kidneys or get them killed of an overdose. The NFL remains the most popular league in the United States, but that could all disappear if a marquee player died of a painkiller overdose. The opioid crisis is discussed a lot, but I'm very sure the NFL has a drug problem of its own, and its painkillers.

Throughout their history, the Cowboys have exploited their past to bilk fans out of their money and trick the press into giving them unnecessary coverage. Far too often, the Press has had a say in who gets the award, when none of them even played or coached. Time for a change: only allow players and coaches to vote on who gets the award. They're more in tune to who fits which schemes, and who's really changing the destiny of their team. The current process is an insult; its more about popularity among writers than actual greatness.

The Browns need to find talent however they can...and at any price. Their defense is comparable to that of a Pop Warner team, and their receiving corps has given Baker Mayfield no one to throw to. In short, simply changing the playbook fixes nothing.
