This week I am delighted to welcome the legend that is Peter Hartley, a local hero among the mighty Well fans. I really enjoy talking to Peter, he's such a down to earth guy. He is a big family man where we share a common ground. The big man also blows my mind with his pizza choice. In this episode we talk about the good and also challenging points of his new team Jamshedpur F.C who are in the Indian super league and we discuss his plans for the rest of his footballing career. We talk about how his football story began and his journey to where he is now. I love his honesty about his career from under 21s to playing with Hartlepool United, a team he grew up supporting.

This week I got to sit and talk to the amazing Kat from @yer_awrite the popular Instagram page. Kats page showcased her pop culture art work which I'm sure everyone can relate to from still game, Amy Winehouse, Marvel etc, each image ties into her blog which is written in a down to earth, conversational way with humour and Glaswegian dialect and feels just like you're talking to yer pal. The happy Yellow and white images are all over everyone's Instagram stories which help spread positivity and create a great social media community. The page is now over 18k followers. I'm not allowed to say I'm a fan as Kat's not into that patter but I'm a admirer of her work and have been for some time. The page works strongly with a charity which we have worked with in the past. Chris's House in Wishaw. Who help with suicide awareness and means a lot to many people in this area. We discuss how Kat decided to start posting, how is grown, where she sees it going and then we go off topic as she's extremely easy to talk to with good banter. Her book choices are fantastic which are heavily influenced by her other passion in her life, working with kids. Her choices will help with anyone looking for new ideas for bedtime reading with their kids which have a positive message. Kat had a positive and infectious personality which makes this one an easy listen and will be sure to brighten your day.

This week I am so happy to sit down with my good friend Colin Campbell whom I have grown up with. We talk about how he went from working in a car garage for many years to now running his Taekondo and little tigers clubs all over Lanarkshire and Glasgow. It is great to hear how he decided to have a big change in his life and follow his passion with helping others and pursue a career in martial arts.

This week I was so happy to sit and chat with my friend Leigh-Anne. She is the woman being the scenes of the Instagram famous dog account Brodie and Tilda Bratwurst, who have an insane 33,500 following and it just keeps growing. We discuss what it's like to be behind the camera of her two famous dogs and how their lives have been impacted by social media. Leigh-Anne tells of how it started and how two wee dogs can give so many people a bit of happiness in their day. During this podcast we talk about mental health during the pandemic and what the future holds for Leigh-Anne.

This week I was so happy to sit down with the amazing and talented Marie - Claire of Marie Clare Cake design. This episode shows you that if you follow your passion and use your talents that you have been gifted with, anything is possible. I loved to hear how she started out on her journey with a love for home economics then after being accepted into Glasgow School of Arts she went in a different creative direction for a while. Her love of baking returned after being gifted cake making tools from her friends mother who was also a baker. This set her off onto becoming the famous and very reputable cake boss she is today. Marie-Clare has a great story and is an inspiration to us all.

I'M BACK! After a 3 month break I am delighted to be back with E16 or can we call it season 2? In this short intro episode I tell you where and why I took some time out from the show and I share a nice wee story at the end. It is so good to be back.

This week I am so happy to sit down with my good friend and Yoga instructor, Lynne Goudie. We have a great talk about the benefits of Yoga and how it helps both the mind and body. Lynne teaches seasonal Yoga which is a style of dynamic Yoga practice which is designed to align you with the changing energies of nature and the seasons. A practice that improves physical strength and flexibility and brings balance and harmony to your life. In the show we talk and cover a range of topics from family life, changing careers from her very busy work schedule and how yoga has helped Lynne in so many ways.

This week I am delighted to have the Host of the famous Stayin Inn Quiz, Andy Dunlop which I am sure you will know from Facebook which also featured on the BBC One Show. Andy is a very interesting man. He tells us about his days as a Tour Manager for bands such as Twin Atlantic where they covered 48 of 50 states of the US. While working as a Live events manager he has worked with acts such as Foo Fighters, Spice girls and many more big names. We talk about how Andy pivoted his business and created the hugely popular Stayin Inn during lockdown which has grown arms and legs. The Quiz created such a strong community at a time when people needed it most. They recently helped the Beatson Cancer Charity raise an amazing amount of £30k which is still growing. The episode covers so many topics. I love Andy's Attitude towards life and how overcoming his battle with depression, he now seizes every opportunity that comes his way. Most importantly we discuss Da life and how important his family is to him.

This week I welcomed the extremely talented singer/songwriter Connor Fyfe onto the show. It is impressive enough to sell out King Tuts Glasgow but this man has sold it out at his ripe old age of 14. We discuss how his career is taking off, his music taste, influences and where he has loved to play so far. This guy has some amazing and hilarious banter and I was buckled at his quick witted comments. His guests he would have for dinner are extremely random. Listen all the way to the end and you will be delighted to hear Connor sing a fantastic cover of a well known song. You will hear why everyone is talking about Connor Fyfe!

This week who better to have back for episode 10 than Laura. To be fair she is back by demand. We chat about our daughter turning one, our adventures to beaches in Scotland so far. This leads us back on to our travelling stories where we tell stories of our adventures which definitely shaped our lives for the better......and of course I brought back a wee story to finish the episode.

This week I was so happy to have female entrepreneur, owner of Sense Intimates and my good friend, Mandy Tsang. We discuss how and why Mandy took the plunge into setting up her own company and how her strong relationship with her mother inspired her to do this. Mandy shares her drive and determination with you. Why you should follow your goals and never give up on them as the world is your oyster. I love her passion for helping people and her beautiful personality comes across for you to hear in this episode.

This week I am delighted to have broadcasting legend Connie McLaughlin on the show. Connie is famous for her presenting on BT and BBC Sports but did you know that she has a very interesting background in psychology and also has a wellness business called Inner Buzz? We cover a range of topics such as how she started, what famous sporting icons she has met, travel and much more. I was also able to test Connie on my new question section that I have for guests .....What books she would recommend to listeners that she has found helpful in her life.

This week I welcomed my amazing friend and guru of Zen, Karen Lafferty to the show. We had a fantastic and very open chat about mental health, Reiki, meditation ....and how we should invest more time into our well-being. I am a very strong believer in taking care of not only your body but your mental state and Karen talks about this in such a brilliant way. Not only has she helped me with my mental state she also has helped so many others with her meditation and mindfulness groups and workshops. We dive into how we are can get through Covid and what we should look at putting in place to come out of this wild time to battle anxiety, depression and low energy. This weeks guest is Scottish entrepreneur Steven Rinaldi. Owner of the UKs top Gym equipment company Primal Strength, who are proving to be the turning key solution to Gyms full fit outs. They now are trading in over 20 countries in Europe and constantly growing. We discuss in this episode how Steven started in the industry and how he changed from one of the largest supplement and sports nutrition companies to starting up on his own and dominating the UK fitness market.

This week I was delighted to have Andy "The Outcast" Cairney on the show. Former Scotland Strongest man, 7x World and 8x European Powerlifting champion and owner of Outcast Barbell Sanctuary Gym. We focused on his truly inspiring story from almost 10 years ago which was an extremely life changing event. He tells the story of when he blew both of his knees in the Arnold Classic Comp in Ohio USA to then head back to American soil after being told he would never walk or lift agin. From wheelchair to world champion ....you won't want to miss this episode

This week I have had the pleasure of talking to Scotland Coach Ray Cavanagh. We discuss his amazing and successful Olympic lifting adventures, being a commonwealth competitor in Canada to Coaching the Scotland team in Australia. He shares how he started out and how his Gym has grown from strength to strength over the years. I stand by what I says at the opening of the podcast. He is the best at what he does.

This is a podcast where I can share my stories and many others as I wi be joined by a host of guests. It will be unfiltered, light hearted and well I would say pretty funny.
