The church is to be a place where God's presence is, and a light to the world. To be a place where God's Spirit is at home involves us learning to love well.

We as human beings are looking for home, a place of connection and community. Through Jesus God has called us home, out of what the Bible calls 'exile' into friendship with him. Ben talks through the theme of exile in the Bible and of Jesus' invitation to come home to a loving Heavenly Father.

We are called to be people who live by God's Spirit, offering every part of ourselves to Him. This morning we explored a process for how to partner with God's Spirit in His work of changing us from the inside out.

Ben unpacks what it means to live as 'sacred temples' - a place where the Holy Spirit resides. To live with our bodies as places of worship is not easy, it is an ongoing process of surrendering to Jesus.

God's presence in our lives is a source of life giving love, that leads to joy. Being rooted in His presence though, is not straightforward - it involves us submitted to the pruning work of the Spirit, and His word in our lives.

We kick off a new series on the presence of God, how to live aware of God's presence in our lives and how to be a people where God's presence resides. Everything good begins in His presence.
