Things get meta on Slasher Summer as we take on SCREAM (1996). We FINALLY talk about some Frankenstein Drag Queens songs. Andy flashes back to high school. Georgia loves Matthew Lillard.

SLASHER SUMMER continues with this underrated 1983 gem. We discuss the relative merits of Nekromantix and The Renfields. Andy admits to having the slasher bug. Georgia gets academic with it.

SLASHER SUMMER continues with John Carpenter's 1978 classic. Andy gushes about Wednesday 13 AND about Halloween. Georgia gets fully spooked, like, for real.

SLASHER SUMMER gets off to a killer start with Sean S. Cunningham's genre-defining (and genre-subverting) FRIDAY THE 13TH (1980.) We pair it with A PARTY AT CRYSTAL LAKE (The Other, 2017). We talk practical effects, parties, the quirks of a complicated genre, and jump scares. We also spoil basically every element of this forty-year-old movie. Be warned, I guess.

It's finally here... we close out VINCENT PRICE MONTH with RETURN OF THE FLY (1959) and the Glenn Danzig-era Misfits song RETURN OF THE FLY (Static Age, 1978.) LABRANK returns. Bad things happen to a guinea pig.

We kick off VINCENT PRICE SEASON with 1959 cult classic THE TINGLER. It makes for a spooky kooky pairing with Zombina and the Skeletones' VINCENT PRICE (2008.) We talk on-screen acid trips and play "Is It a Gimmick?"

We pair the 1954 nuclear mutant giant-ant feature THEM! with the 1999 Misfits song of the same name. We talk lady scientists, eating the monster, and sound design. Georgia claims to know a lot about ants, but that's up for debate.

It's a CREATURE DOUBLE FEATURE as we pair the Universal Classic THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON (1954) with The Creepshow's CREATURES OF THE NIGHT (2016.) This one's a real 1950s treat. Fellas get socked in the jaw. 

This week we pair Hammer's 1958 DRACULA (starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee) with Wednesday 13's BLOOD SUCKER (2013.) We pitch our own film, Action Dracula. And we ask the all-important question: would you smooch the monster?
