Egan continued working with Ure, and later collaborated with The Misfits, Skids and Shock, and well as being a founding member of Visage. He played drums on a remixed version of Phil Lynott's song "Yellow Pearl", which the BBC used as the Top of the Pops theme tune from 1981 to 1986.

In August 2025, Night Demon played a historic gig at the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. In this episode, we explore all the whys and wherefores of how this magical night came to be. The guys talk about their history in Cleveland and the incredible bond they formed with the NE Ohio diehards more than a decade ago. They also discuss their view of the Rock Hall, the artifacts they donated to the museum after the Live Darkness record, and the cool aspects of the museum, Then they tell you how this gig came to be, and how its genesis was the Midnight gig at the Rock Hall in summer 2024. Are we fully embracing God's design for His church? In this episode of Mavericks & Misfits, we delve into the fascinating and controversial topic of modern-day apostles and the five-fold ministry described in Ephesians 4:11-13. This isn't just ancient history - it's an eternal blueprint for how the church should function today! We're challenged to reconsider our understanding of apostleship and its vital role in equipping believers and advancing God's Kingdom. By examining objective scriptures, we see that apostles weren't limited to the original twelve. This insight invites us to open our hearts to how God might be working through apostolic gifts in our midst today. As we reflect on this, let's ask ourselves: Are we limiting God's work by our traditions? Was it God's intent to remove apostles and prophets from the list of leadership offices in the Church, leaving only pastors, evangelists, and teachers? If so, where does the bible teach that two of the five offices would go away at some point? How might embracing the full spectrum of spiritual gifts and offices transform our faith communities?
