In the summer of 2001, something strange began appearing on the rooftops of Delhi.Witnesses described a hairy humanoid with glowing red eyes, metallic claws, impossible jumping abilities and, in some accounts, a helmet, illuminated buttons and mechanical roller skates. The reports spread across the city, police patrols filled the streets, frightened residents formed armed neighborhood watches, and people were seriously injured trying to escape a creature that was never identified or captured.The official explanation is usually mass panic. That may explain the hundreds of rumors and mistaken sightings that followed, but it does not necessarily explain what started them. In this episode of Idiot Mystic, we reconstruct the Delhi Monkey-Man outbreak, examine the stranger witness accounts, compare it with other temporary “monster waves,” and ask whether collective fear merely invents creatures or sometimes gives unexplained phenomena a way to enter the world.There is also a cyborg monkey on roller skates, because reality occasionally becomes irritated by our attempts to discuss it seriously.

If they don't cooperate, your worker just goes home with a cute bandage token. In this episode, Brian welcomes Steve from the UK to share the unsettling roadside encounter he experienced near Hibaldstow, North Lincolnshire, in July 1994.While driving home after a night of DJ work, Steve watched a heavily built, hair-covered creature—standing roughly six and a half feet tall—cross directly in front of his car before disappearing into the roadside brush.The creature moved with remarkable speed and an unusually smooth, fluid gait. As it passed through the headlights, Steve noticed straw or dried grass tangled in its matted hair and caught a brief profile of a pale gray or white face with an almost glossy appearance. by UFO History Buff & Author, Charles Lear Among the many possible explanations for UFOs is that some UFOs might be creatures that live in the sky. The person who became best known for this idea was Trevor James Constable who presented it, along with infrared photos of what he claimed were bioforms invisible to the naked eye, in his 1958 book (as Trevor James) They Live in the Sky. James wasn't alone in his belief, and the concept of sky creatures goes back farther than 1958 in both speculative literature and science fiction.A good starting point for the history of the sky-creatures hypothesis is the 1997 paper by Jerome Clark, Spacemen, Demons and Conspiracies, published by the Fund for UFO Research.
