This week we are discussing "Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama 2" and this is one by far the shortest sequel we will ever cover. This one had us discussing a little green Imp who tricks people by offering wishes, the lack of background actors, the shoehorned plot, Kelli freakin' Maroney, if the bowling alley was an active business, and more. The next sequel up is a movie that is the conversation whenever people discuss "Worst Sequels Ever" with "Speed 2: Cruise Control" and for it, I chatted with an actress who is a Soap star from "Days of Our Lives" who has been in everything from Different Strokes to The Burbs to Step by Step and a ton more. Of course, I am talking about Patrika Darbo! We talked about being on Johnny Carson, the power of Soap fans, and her journey from Florida to Hollywood. Super fun chat.Follow us on all social media @sequelsonly and our website is sequelsonly.com Review, rate, and share us with your friends, enemies, neighbors, exes, and even that annoying supermarket clerk!

Whether you're grappling with the bittersweet empty nest or seeking to redefine your role in your children's rapidly changing world, this episode offers heartwarming advice and real-world wisdom. Press play and discover the liberating power of evolved, mutually respectful parenthood. “You have to embrace autonomy. You have to recognize their need for independence and decision making, even if they make mistakes. Sometimes that is the best way for them to learn is to actually go through it. Failure is a crucial part of growth. So you want to encourage resilience. You want to encourage problem solving by allowing your child to face those challenges without immediately intervening. And also, you have to trust that the lessons that you've instilled in them over, you know, let's say 18 years will help to guide their actions in a good way.” ~Michael R. According to The Hill, the future of Black fraternities and sororities on college campuses could be in jeopardy as the Trump administration intensifies its crackdown on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs. The Department of Education has signaled plans to expand the Supreme Court's affirmative action ban beyond admissions, which could target race-based student organizations. Black fraternities and sororities have historically provided leadership, support, and community service in response to systemic exclusion. Critics argue that dismantling these groups would violate First Amendment rights, while supporters of the administration claim such organizations promote racial division. Legal challenges are expected if federal funding is threatened for schools that support these organizations. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

In 2013, Alpha Delta Gamma senior Melanie Gotz made national headlines when she revealed that sorority hopefuls were being cut from rush based on race. Ep. 161 In this solo episode, I take you through my life story, from my childhood to where I am today. I reflect on key moments—like moving to America, struggling with self-harm, and overcoming mental health challenges—that shaped the person I am now.
