In my opinion, it is relatively save to assume that, the bottom has been found in Bitcoin, after weeks of sideways trading. We detected multiple 13 counts of various measures and finally show an upcount of 1. The next ten plus days will show if this trend is able to break out to the upside. Again, posted charts will give a clear picture. There was more pain! There's always more pain, when you are a contrarian buyer on weakness. This is the reason why you should layer yourself into a reversing position. Don't panic, nobody said it was going to be easy. Our risk level sits at 37.555,85 with an upside of 59,592,20. Not too shabby really, these risk levels can also be breached and very often overshoot - but come right back up in your direction. As I had remarked in my last podcast, the bottom in Bitcoin is in, and with it, the bottom in Litecoin and ethereum as well. Also, there is a top in the euro currency building correlating a bottom in the Dixie DXY dollar index. I believe, the time to invest in bitcoin and other cryptocurrency's, mainly Litecoin and Ethereum, is now. Ahhh yes, the headlines, always get the best of you don't they? Yesterday was a perfect example why you should tune out mass media. Follow a great trading plan, stick to it, try to keep your emotions completely out of trading. Bitcoin is the single greatest revolution the financial markets have ever seen, the old school investors are trying hard to discredit and sanction cryptocurrencies, as much as it's in their power. A bottom developing in bitcoin is, in my opinion, a great opportunity to buy the dip. This bottom might take up to one week to fully develop and there is always the risk that it will not ever find the desired up-swing. Oh yes, I ran head on into the inflation scare within an Apple options play. Last weeks bitcoin call was much better, in that regard, I had advised on a possible rapid downward move. Looks like a slow start to the week after Friday's massive moves in the FX market, mainly the Euro and the DXY index. Soybeans and soybean meal also had a great move to the upside on Friday. How much stronger can the Euro get? Overall positive development for the United States market, although, FED officials are now calling for a cautious approach when investing. I am always looking over my shoulder - looking for opportunities to short. Right now, I don't see any. Oh yes, those little market scares always get me. Pretty scary to see your balance drop like a rock isn't it. Turns out, just as expected, it was a buying opportunity and we're moving on to the FX trades, mainly the Euro, the British pound, and the DXY dollar index, trying to find a new direction. As I mentioned in my podcast, because I am locked into the Spot market, I cannot possibly afford the imbalance between the Euro and USD, to get any larger. I smell a rat! Did somebody really sent Janet Yellen out to test the waters? Why did she make this particular statement? Although, advertised by indicators, I didn't believe a downward move of this magnitude was in the cards. Talking about the NASDAQ. Well, you always have to have another trade that saves your butt - WTI crude oil, was the life saver in that regard. It goes to show you how important risk management is. Another first trading day of the month, usually a bullish day in the markets; watch the Euro versus the Dixie, DXY, question here is, how high can the Euro go? How much more depressed will the Dollar be in the long term? I decided to go full in on the energy trade, going long Brent crude and WTI crude oil, along with RBOB gasoline. Like I've been saying, it is a traders market! Volatility has been our friend and you can flip-flop almost every day to take a contrarian view, or just the other side, for a day trade. Of course, it's not as easy as that and you do have to do a little more work, in order to apply your capital. For now, I have found a rhythm, quite different from the trading rhythm in the United States. I have been trading for almost a year and a half, from various cities in Germany, finding out I'm mostly done by the time the US intraday comes around. President Biden is looking for more and more money to spend which in turn is keeping markets elevated and the carrot held in front of the masses of workers investors and speculators. When this will end, nobody knows. Our job is to cut little slices out of the pie. It's good to be right, we were spot on in calling the top - yesterday - on the agricultural markets across-the-board. Very unwillingly, I had to get myself to capitulate and admit, I was unable to maneuver my positions into the green. You don't have to be a genius to understand that something is inherently wrong with the Fed Chairman Jerome Powell feeding the American public statements over 60 minutes on a Sunday night. Michigan is already in high distress over rising Corona numbers, Texas has opened up and could be next. Germany is debating another lock down, anyway, the future is not as bright as the media portrays it to be.
