The royal family exploded this week with multiple crises converging at once! Queen Camilla and Princess Catherine are reportedly "at odds" after cameras caught Camilla allegedly telling Kate to "move" during Trump's state visit, with insiders claiming Camilla is "territorial" and reminding Kate "she's calling the shots for now." The tension highlights a growing power struggle as Kate becomes increasingly influential with both King Charles and Prince William.Meanwhile, Prince Harry issued a furious statement accusing unnamed palace sources of actively "sabotaging" his reconciliation attempts after reports described his meeting with Charles as "formal." Palace insiders fired back: "Every time there's progress, he runs to the press and ruins it. He needs attention like air." But the week's bombshell came Saturday when William delivered his most candid interview ever with Eugene Levy, calling 2024 "the hardest year I've ever had" and revealing his vision for modernizing the monarchy. He opened up about protecting Kate and Charles during their cancer battles, learning from his parents' divorce mistakes, and why "change is on my agenda." Plus: Andrew and Fergie effectively banned from royal Christmas at Sandringham, Kate skipped the Rugby World Cup final but found time for a Harry Potter set visit with the kids, Meghan's father trapped in Philippines earthquake, and Tom Sykes declares William—not Charles—now calls the shots in the monarchy!

Clay explains what makes for a well-designed AMC and how it can accelerate the path to commercialization for everything from carbon removal to green steel. This is a public episode. The conflict is compounded by family commitments, the late start of the baseball game, and the inconvenience of having to cut away for Sal's "Unkillable" podcast right in the middle of the Yankees action. The dilemma boils down to which New York team offers the lesser degree of pain or inconvenience, with Sal leaning toward avoiding the chaos of the Jets to catch the Yankees, despite the logistical nightmare it creates.

We recorded this week's marriage diary podcast on location under the famous Sycamore Tree in Bampton, the real village of Downton Abbey. But it was harder than we thought. Downton Abbey has become our family's anchor, so when we found ourselves in the UK close to the location where many of the show's outdoor scenes were filmed, we packed our microphones and set off to record a podcast. While we were talking about why this show has become a lifeline for both our marriage and our family, a coachload of tourists turned up. I've never felt so awkward and self-conscious in my life. But Brian refused to stop filming. So you will hear my awkwardness in all its glory... After a year of loss and leaving our home in New Zealand, Liz and Brian, husband and wife, have been living out of suitcases, feeling nomadic and uncertain. In this very raw episode, we talk about how binge-watching Downton Abbey has given our family a surprising sense of routine, safety, and connection as we travel the world and heal after loss. We also open up about the expat's identity crisis, what it's like to not know where "home" is, and pushing through the fear of being seen when you're grieving. This is one of our most authentic and vulnerable conversations yet, and we hope you enjoy it. Thank you for joining us, you are what make this happen. Our hearts Liz and Brian xx Kia Kaha. Before the Israelites could enter the Promised Land, they had to stand at the edge of the Jordan River — and trust God to make a way. At a retreat diving deep into the book of Joshua, the leader God appointed after Moses died, I found myself at my own river's edge, staring at something God was asking me to let go of. But I wasn't ready. This is the story of how He met me there — in my fear, in my wrestling — and how crossing over became more than just a metaphor. In this episode, Kirk Reynolds, seasoned founder and now the creator of Wilder Retreats, opens up about the hardest conversations of his career. From telling his 55-person team that he was selling the company without sharing the real reason, to navigating the identity crisis that came when the acquirer shut it down, Kirk reflects on what it means to lead with honesty, even when fear and burnout make it tempting to hide.He also shares how blunt feedback about being a “people pleaser” reshaped the way he manages, and why processing failure and loss is just as important as chasing growth. This is a conversation about leadership, identity, and the courage it takes to be fully yourself when the stakes are high.In this conversation, you'll learn:Why trusting your team with the truth builds deeper loyalty and respectHow to process the emotional toll of selling, losing, or reinventing a businessWhy intention and self-awareness can turn difficult feedback into lasting growthThings to listen for:(00:00) Intro(01:51) Kirk's first steps into entrepreneurship(06:26) Building and scaling Discover Outdoors(08:31) Joining Abercrombie & Kent after exit(11:02) Tough feedback and personal growth(20:48) Balancing leadership with family life(25:26) Lessons from difficult conversations(26:04) Deciding to sell Discover Outdoors(28:14) Telling the team about the sale(30:31) Reflecting on honesty in leadership(34:27) The emotional weight of selling(37:48) Finding gratitude in new beginnings(40:03) Preparing mind and body for conversations(45:32) Setting bold, ambitious goalsResources:Connect with Kirk:LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/kirk-reynolds/Wilder Retreats: https://discoverwilder.com/ Connect with Andrew:LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrewcapland/ Substack: https://media.deliveringvalue.coJoin Growth OS: https://deliveringvalue.co/growth-operating-systemHire Andrew as your coach: https://deliveringvalue.co/coaching
