Whatever ideas or plans a leader has should not be confined in the minds, but must be evident through action. EPISODE NOTES: Leaders must be  thinkers.  Leaders must develop a system to continuously and productively be thinking. It is in thinking where ideas are developed and formed.  It is in thinking where problems are solved.  What sets leaders apart from other people who think is their level of thinking.   The way a leader thinks must be higher than the plan, higher than the problem and  converts that mind into actions.  Leaders think for a purpose.  Leaders think with an intention.  Leaders think and act. “The way you think about a problem determines your ability to solve the problem.”  Download bonus resources at:  www.transformationalpodcast.com Connect with us on Facebook at:  http://www.facebook.com/amosbalongo Find us on Twitter at:  http://www.twitter.com/abalongo Follow us on Instagram at http://www.instagram.com/amosbalongo Get to know more about Amos at http://www.amosbalongo.com/ Don’t forget to Subscribe to the show, leave a comment and Share!

EPISODE SUMMARY: What is your true character?  How well do you know yourself?  Character is who we really are.  Our character is formed from what we do and say.  It is foundational to our actions.  All our actions and what we say are built around character. It is our character traits that will help us build for a better future. EPISODE NOTES: The true test to a person’s character is revealed when he is faced with a crisis. If his character is built on a strong foundation, when crisis comes, he will not fall but he will build.  He will use that crisis to emerge stronger and not be broken.  What matters is not what happens to us, but what happens in us, and that is character.  Trials and struggles will not harm us because we are bigger on the inside than on the outside.  In everything we say and do, ensure that all these will contribute to building a strong foundation for a better character, a better you.  “It is not the crisis that makes or breaks us.  It is the crisis that reveals what kind of foundation upon which we are built.” Download bonus resources at:  www.transformationalpodcast.com Connect with us on Facebook at:  http://www.facebook.com/amosbalongo Find us on Twitter at:  http://www.twitter.com/abalongo Follow us on Instagram at http://www.instagram.com/amosbalongo Get to know more about Amos at http://www.amosbalongo.com/ Don’t forget to subscribe to the show and share!

Amos consults with companies, corporations, non-profit  organizations, and the United States Government equipping them with strategies to develop their leadership potential. EPISODE SUMMARY: The key to being an effective leader is growth.  Leaders do not grow in a day, they grow every day. People experience growth in different ways.  Others grow as a result of being part of a team, others grow based on their personal experiences, while others happen to be at the right place at the right time and thus as a result they experience growth.  When leaders grow, they do not just grow as individuals. Their personal growth equips them as leaders and is multiplied, resulting in the positive growth of others. That is the power of leadership. EPISODE NOTES: Leaders grow in various ways, some ways include team growth, personal growth and purposeful growth. No matter how they grow, growth paves the way to the kind of leader that you will become. You either be a goal conscious leader or a growth conscious leader.  Goal conscious leaders focus on the destination — the finish line, while growth conscious leaders have their eyes set on the journey. Growth does not happen overnight and leaders must make growth a priority.    “Your capacity to grow determines your capacity to lead.” Download bonus resources at:  www.transformationalpodcast.com  Connect with us on Facebook at:  http://www.facebook.com/amosbalongo Find us on Twitter at:  http://www.twitter.com/abalongo Follow us on Instagram at http://www.instagram.com/amosbalongo Get to know more about Amos at http://www.amosbalongo.com/ Don’t forget to Subscribe to the show, leave a comment and Share with others.

EPISODE SUMMARY: A true leader is not a leader of words but a leader of action.  Leadership is action. They do not simply talk about what they want to happen, they find a way to make it happen.  A leader has to be intentional. You need to have a plan and take steps to turn that plan into reality by acting on it.   EPISODE NOTES: In this episode, Amos defines the real essence of leadership.  A leader must be a person of action, not a person of words. Live out what you preach.  Do not simply talk, but walk the talk. Instead of being indifferent, make a difference in people’s lives.  Leaders set goals and aspirations, however, these will remain on the drawing board unless action is taken. For goals to materialize, a plan of action must be put in place.  In these times of uncertainty, it is important for leaders to be people of action. “Live for others because the true essence of leadership is in action and the true formula for action is serving others and making a difference.” Download bonus resources at:  www.transformationalpodcast.com  Connect with us on Facebook at:  http://www.facebook.com/amosbalongo Find us on Twitter at:  http://www.twitter.com/abalongo Follow us on Instagram at http://www.instagram.com/amosbalongo Get to know more about Amos at http://www.amosbalongo.com/ Don’t forget to subscribe to the show and share!

He believes that leaders should constantly grow and learn to equip themselves with the skills necessary for leadership. Amos consults with companies, corporations, non profit  organizations, and the United States Government equipping them with strategies to develop their leadership potential. EPISODE SUMMARY: Putting together a dream team can be a daunting task.  There are several factors to consider in ensuring that the members of your team are in sync with one another.  One of the most important factors is putting together not simply like-minded people but more importantly like-valued people.  Apart from the skills, what needs to be similar are the values they share. This is a key element in making the team successful. EPISODE NOTES: A leader cannot achieve success without the support of a reliable and efficient team.  It is imperative that in creating a team, a leader must ensure that its members do not just have the same set of skills or line of thought, but share the same principles and values.  When presented with an idea, the team members must show respect to the idea, give it value and contribute to bring that idea to a higher level. Every member must maximize the growth opportunities available to improve the goal.  There will be failures. However, it is not the failures that hamper the goal to succeed, it is in failing to learn from those failures. In your journey, failures happen to make you better.       “As you work on your dreams, you are going to make mistakes. You are going to experience failures. That is a guarantee, in every aspiration, every journey , in every dream. However the pitfall is never making the mistakes or experiencing the failures. The pitfall lies in the inability to learn from those mistakes and failures.” Download bonus resources at:  www.transformationalpodcast.com  Connect with us on Facebook at:  http://www.facebook.com/amosbalongo Find us on Twitter at:  http://www.twitter.com/abalongo Follow us on Instagram at http://www.instagram.com/amosbalongo Get to know more about Amos at http://www.amosbalongo.com/ Don’t forget to subscribe to the show and share!
