Katie thanks everyone for the support of last weeks podcast and the aftermath. Also gives her take on the perfect book to talk to kids about kindness. Plus can't go a podcast without Packer talk...and oh how about that national anthem?
Mean texts are still completely relevant on air even though we don't highlight them. I got a doozy earlier this week. I know I have podcast about this before, but I will podcast about it thirty more times until people get it. It's not ok.
Today's episode Katie talks about sending Brody off to 4k. These surveys really grind my gears! This one claims that being a Mom is equivalent to two full time jobs. Here is the thing. Being a Mom makes you busy...just as busy as people who don't have kids! A lot of people disagree with my take on this...listen at your own risk ;)
It was a big weekend at the Schurk household. Brody broke the 42" barrier and can now go down the Kaukauna Pool water slide all by himself! It's fun watching all the newfound independence. But with great independence comes great responsibility. We're working a chore chart hard for Brody to 'earn' a trip to Disney World. He doesn't know that it's happening in less than a month. We want to impress that opportunities like that don't grow on trees. Subscribe to Katie Cast on iTunes
