Serein's Breath arrives and the Secondary Heroes stand in defense of Lonetree and a ritual one final time. Brym and his family face familiar foes in a battle on the streets while Duncan and his former teacher, Miralda Twice-Slain, do battle in the stead of their gods.
Serein's breath approaches and what remains of the Secondary Heroes set up to make a final stand to save the ground under their feet and those who live on it. It's time to start saying farewells. Part 1 of 3 begins now.
Within the library of death himself old friends are reunited, for a final time.
The Secondary Heroes manage to break into death's library, the home of Lord Vita god of death and fire. They seek knowledge that may save Serein itself, but can they manage to find what they seek? Can they return unscathed? Can they return at all?
The Secondary Heroes arrive in Capitol only to find that the once thriving city has changed. Duncan restores what was lost and breaks into a shop, Etney reunites with an old friend, and Brymgar goes home.
The Secondary Heroes again take to the air and travel across Serein, only to get lost and have to return to a familiar village.
The Secondary Heroes make final preparations, say their farewells, and take to the air to search for a way to save Serein.
The the wake of the dragon attack the survivors rest, recover, and cope. But in the back of their minds they know that they may have survived the battle but the war to save Serein from itself continues and soon the Secondary Heroes must return to the fray.
The battle between the Dragon and the Secondary Heroes comes to a bloody conclusion, and Etney reunites with an old friend.
The Dragon continues to threaten all of Lonetree, and the Secondary Heroes continue to defend it. But costs are mounting, and Brym meets a true lord.
The Dragon arrives at Lonetree
As Brym and Duncan rush home Etney does everything she can to keep Lonetree safe. She faces a fierce foe, plays with fire, and a long awaited visitor finally comes to the door.
Brym and Duncan go to a ball, have at least three awkward dances, attempt to secure alliances with Palan and Aldorf, and Etney receives a final letter.
The Secondary Heroes throw and attend some parties having earned some long-overdue fun.
Brym and Duncan head underground as Etney gets a message and works to keep New Lonetree together.
Etney conducts the trial of Goldwin, Ambert and Zalka hoping to hand out justice. Duncan and Brym travel with their companions.
A letter arrives, and some of the secondary heroes must leave to visit the Dwarven Kingdom of Aldorf, leaving one hero alone to protect the homefront, conduct trials and rule to citizens. The heroes are separated once again.
Can Brymgar stop Goldwin and Ambert's plan? Will Etney expose her family? Will Duncan and Vella stop the thief?
The Secondary Heroes hold a council to decided how to deal with the problems before them, Etney talks to her aunt and Brym finds the darkness festering in New Lonetree.
Lonetree continues to grow, and the Secondary Heroes set about cultivating it. Brym selects an elite trio of soldiers to fight beside him, meanwhile Duncan and Etney hear the concerns and requests of the people.
Brym, Duncan, and Etney delve deeper into the dungeons of Wym Hallowheart. They defeat the golem, speak with a dead man, and find the Seal that Arcane Archie requested. But Duncan will also be forced to decide if he should give hospitality or slay evil.
Spring rolls on as Lonetree grows. Duncan and Etney embark upon their mission to retrieve Wym Hallowheart's seal so they can settle Duncan's debt to Arcane Archie. Much to his displeasure, Brymgar is forced by his sister, Vella, to join them. But evils and contradictions lurk in the depths of Wym Hallowheart's final resting place, can the Secondary Heroes delve into this dungeon and return unscathed and unchanged?
Brymgar, Duncan and Etney finally encounter each other! Brym rushes to the defense of his sister and the refugees. He hopes to save them from the danger of the Rhemoraz. Meanwhile Duncan and Etney rush to Brym's aid. The first bonds of the New Secondary Heroes are forged on the battlefield!
The Frost Shepherds arrive to Lonetree with concerning news and difficult requests for Duncan and Etney.
Autumn is ending and Lonetree's first winter in the north is all but here and with it Duncan and Etney suffer their first true losses. Meanwhile, Brymgar journeys across oceans and meets fellow travelers on their way to Lonetree
The summer sun rises high above the Serpent's Back Mountain Range, and as it turns to autumn the Secondary Heroes' quiet year continues. Meanwhile off to the west Brymgar's year continues to be one of change for him and his family.
For awhile now Lonetree has been under attack and on the run, but now with the help of the Secondary Heroes and the Orcs the town is now safe and settled. What they're left with is a single quiet year, four seasons with which to rebuild and remember how to work together. Eventually the frost shepherds bearing bad news from the rest of Serein will arrive but Duncan and Etney don't know that yet. So we begin with Spring into Summer. Meanwhile Brymgar continues his own year.
Duncan and Etney are visited by the orcs of the Serpent's Back Mountain Range, they meet a retired ritualist, and put down roots. Meanwhile Brymgar meets up with his dwarven friend at a local bar.

The Magus and her companions explore the shining city of Istallia under the hospitality of the Gilded One, whoever that might be. Schools are toured, old friends are visited, and magic continues to die.
The magic continues to pass and with it the magus will die. The journey finds the group leaving barley town and heading into the mistwoods, meeting gray rangers, opening up old wounds, and eventually reaching the city of Istallia.
Fall of Magic continues! As magic dies the Magus guides River, Piccolo, and Ellamura out of the oak hills and into Barley Town, to the hospitality of the Barley Lord. River finds himself a weapon, Piccolo reunites with a crush, and Ellamura wanders down memory lane.
