When to give up on love We hope that love can get us through anything, but that isn’t always the case. Many of us want to hold onto our relationship, but we are drowning in the process. In this episode the Life Works Group team shares insight on when its time to let go of love and let that other person go.   In this episode Dwight, Megyn, Christine and Nate talk about when to give up on love. In a lot of relationships that are struggling there is usually one person who is working really hard and another who is just enjoying the ride. Sometimes these relationships can get better, other times they just need to end. Deciding on which relationship you are in can be difficult. In some cases we are holding onto a relationship because of what a break up would look like to others. Individuals think that if a relationship can keep it together than so can they. There are also dynamics in your relationship that you may not know are red flags; behaviors that you have come to accept as normal, which are actually indicators that the relationship should end. So come and see if its time for you to give up on love, and make the difficult but important decision of letting that person go and moving on with your life.

It’s hard to know if you’re expecting too much or expecting too little in a relationship. In this episode the Life Works Group team tackles the topic of expectations in your love life and how they may be killing your relationship. In this episode Dwight, Megyn, Christine and Nate talk about the expectations that are killing your love life. They address the negative expectations that are hurting your relationship, but also address the positive expectations that can help it relationship flourish. Are you aware of how media may be giving you negative expectations for your relationship? Television can trick us into believing that our partner should be everything from a mind reader to Mr. or Mrs. perfect. What if a relationship was built on mutual acceptance and respect? It could have the kind of positive expectations that help it thrive and flourish. But both the positive and negative expectations of a relationship need be balanced out. You don’t want to get too carried away with expecting everything from your partner, but it’s not healthy to expect nothing at all. Come and learn the important balance between negative and positive expectations and which expectations you should think about letting go.   www.lifeworksgroup.org
