Swing House is the most famous Electro Swing subgenre and still the most popular one. Artists such as Parov Stelar, Jamie Berry and Caravan Palace have done their pioneering work on it. The most famous E-Swing evergreens are mostly from Swing House. The productions moves between 118-128 BPM and have a 4 on the floor beat as groove. Swing House is a club genre that has meanwhile developed again in all imaginable directions and styles. There are tracks with Funk and Disco influences, or Electronic and Tech House, but also Minimal and Techno crowd pleaser. Swing House artists often works with real singer, rythm guitar, ragtime piano, vocal hooks and melody lines. Other trademarks are the driving and pumping bassline and all kind of brass and winds instruments that are used, all combined with vintage samples from the Swing Era of 1920-1940! #ItMustSchwing

Lounge Swing is an Electro Swing subgenre and style that is very chilled and has a downbeat tempo. It’s another side of this otherwise very happy genre and is perfect as a background music. You can also call it Dark Swing. Electro Swing is normally very present, so that Lounge Swing should be able alternatively for relaxing, to the after hour, a cozy dinner, or a romantic evening in a bar. Electro Swing Best of Mix - February 2020
Swing Hop is a crossover genre of classic Swing, Jazz, Funk and Hip Hop. The tempo varies from 75-115BPM and has a drum groove that is familiar from Hip Hop. Sometimes Rap vocals are used in the productions, or even vocals with verses and chorus top lines. Many tracks are also instrumental, with vintage samples from themes and melodies of the 20’s-50’s Swing classics. Well-known artists who coined this Electro Swing sub genre include ProleteR, Smokey Joe & The Kid, Gramatik, Jurassic 5, Dutty Moonshine and Minimatic. But there are also a lot of other Swing Hop tracks, by artists from other genres, who occasionally took a trip into this kind of music style. It’s an unlisted genre, without a real home and therefore there are still no real rules and restrictions for it. Swing has always stood for freedom, openness and further development in music! #ItMustSchwing
