After months of cowering and not showering, Ryan is in the studio with Stevie and the first "normal" podcast in ages is here! What has been keeping the boys going during this time of isolation you ask? Well celebrity Zoom meetings, being read children's books by adults, and a new Wolfman are just a few things that are up for discussion
A look at the past session of the Indiana general assembly and new laws that will take effect with State Senator Jim Buck
We hide in the closet to talk about Die Hard and Zelda. Wait that doesnt sound right
We've survived! (so far) Quarantine hasn't gotten the best of Stevie and Ryan just yet, they may have been posting less often, but Nerdversation is still very much alive. Do you love Samuel L. Jackson? Lawrence Fishburn? Random off topic interjections? Beating video games in completely the wrong way? Then strap on your ear buds and tune out your co-workers because WE ARE BACK! (again)
Know why we are quarantined? Its that Carole Baskin!!! We wont let that slow us down though. Our first quarantined episode!
The boys are back! Despite a scathing cease and desist letter from Carole Baskin and the governor, Stevie and Ryan are recording more quality content for you! Apparently there is a global crisis going on and we aren't really allowed to be together so separate studios it is! The Invisible Man, Tiger King, and more, today on Nerdversation.
Have you heard? There's a lot going on in the nerd world right. Little whispers of projects to come.
Have you heard? There's a lot going on in the nerd world right. Little whispers of projects to come, and the boys are all over it. From Antonio Banderas to Sonic the Hedgehog they cover it all! If you're interested in what's on the up and up, you need to listen in today, on Nerdveration.
Joe Hill (Stephen Kings son) might be better than his dad...
Successful people lie right? I mean, we're not encouraging you to lie, but occasionally embellishing can go a long way. Also, if you feel bad about it, you can always use the Head Key to go into your memories and change them. Confused as heck? GOOD! Now you have a good reason to listen in to today's Nerdversation.
If you were unaware as to how this podcast works, let me explain. One of the boys tries to talk about something, the other one either is distracted, or tries really hard to distract the one talking, nothing ever makes any sense, the topic is never fully discussed, and everyone is laughing by the end of it. We may be complete morons, but that's why you listen. We're Nerdversation.
Movies, TV, Video Games, Horror, Toys and pop culture! We talk NERD STUFF!
It's time again to prove that Ryan knows what he's talking about. Stevie believes that there is no way we could spend enough time on Resident Evil to make an episode. Spoiler alert: we go way over time and had to cut ourselves off early. But if you're looking for a selection of good things on sale then WELCOME STRANGER to Nerdversation.
NETFLIX's Dracula, Nailed it or Failed it....(SPOILERS)
It's a rarity that in these modern times of millions of shows that someone puts out a good version of a classic and doesn't totally ruin it. Netflix has accomplished this Herculean task with their latest offering from the blood-suckingly good crew that brought your Sherlock. Stephen and Ryan, get to have a rare moment where the classic horror that Stephen loves, isn't totally boring to the ADHD brain of Ryan. The show was Dracula and ahhh, we will remember it fondly, today, on Nerdversation.
Who wins the top spot? Mandalorian or the Witcher?
The Olympics, they're great! The world's biggest spectacle and celebration in sporting prowess. Not only are they not going on right now, but why the heck am I talking about? You'll have to find out by listening. Stevie doesn't know near as much as he thinks and Ryan not even know who he is. Plus, another streaming service, but this one is potentially awesome. All that and more today on Nerdversation.
After a long and unplanned break, we're back! After any break of more than a few hours of talking, Stevie and Ryan have way too much to talk about. With that comes an inability to stay focused. The Witcher on Netflix, God of War on PS4, and the Mandalorian are the main points today. We promise to try and be more regular. Maybe some prune juice?
Unpopular opinion, Kylo Ren is way less of an emo than Darth Vader. Star Wars and anniversaries are on tap today at Nerdversation. Some beloved pop culture icons are turning way older than we thought and we talk Star Wars and have some unpopular opinions.
NETFLIX + NICKELODEON = ???
The battle of the streaming giants is heating up and Nerdversation is all in for nostalgia! Well....Ryan is. Stephen is excited to see new shows. If it wasn't on PBS, his Amish cable didn't get it. And not much has changed because he still refuses to watch any of the long list of films and shows that Ryan has suggested over the last few years. NOT THAT HE IS BITTER!......Oh and Stephen takes the only quiz that he might do well on.
Disney+ Had a good launch, but how good and will they take down NETFLIX???
SO. MANY. SEGWAYS! Today on Nerdversation the boys are talking about the new evil empire taking over streaming, the old evil empire taking over the movie theatres, and Ryan knows way too much about both!
For old listeners, this is a recap of what you already know, but still fun. For new listeners, welcome to the show! Stephen and Ryan have upgraded and now are a real deal, backed by a radio station, podcast! If you're looking for a ridiculous, off topic, nerdy, and generally super fun chat with your best geek friends, listen in! You don't have to know us personally to be part of the show. This is Nerdversation
Welcome to NERDversation! The podcast all about movies, tv, video games, horror, games, pop culture and stupidity! Today we talked about some of the new casting in the new THE BATMAN movie. Plus we quiz Ryan with the hardest Harry Potter trivia ever!
The conclusion to a very long winded recounting of a frankly pretty dumb idea. But if you listen to Nerdversation, then you already knew what to expect!
31 days that were supposed to be fun, turned a little dark. In October Ryan challenged himself to watch 100 Halloween related things (mostly movies). It got a little grueling. He and Stephen recount and rate the list today on part 1!
Stephen and Ryan are back! Sure they make promises for a month of episodes and excitement and then totally disappear, but isn't that what you love about them? Unpredictability, the constant state of distraction? Regardless! The boys are here and making up for their mistakes the best way they know how, and they have a big announcement!
What's that you say? September is too early for Halloween? WRONG! Team Nerdversation is all about Halloween all year round and prove it today as they kick off their next lengthy venture (at least 6 weeks) of all things horror and spooky. There's a lot of catching up to do and things to get excited about, today, on Nerdversation.
