In these verses we are given the pattern of how the church ministers to the sick among them. I think it’s important for us to recognize this is the pattern for the church. I believe any disciple of Jesus can go to a sick person, lay hands on them, pray for God to heal them, and if God chooses, they can be healed. But sometimes there is a need for the church body to specifically minister to the sick among them. This passage gives us the pattern.
