Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit as our Helper to be with us everywhere. The Holy Spirit leads us to all truth and guides our understanding of God's will. Most importantly the Holy Spirit empowers us to hear the voice of the Father. Tune in as we deep dive into how the Holy Spirit illuminates the voice of the father, for without it, His words remain unheard by us and His presence unfelt.

What does it mean to be holy? The healing journey we've been on with the people of Israel has been a process of dismantling their old identity and creating a new one. This involves creating a new culture. With a new culture comes a new Law — rituals, protocols, and principles for interacting with the unseen realm, living together, caring for one another, and worshiping God. In this episode, we're entering the levitical side of boot camp. And we're covering a lot! What is holiness? What's with the divine smite button? What does Aaron's ordination teach us about our identity in Christ? When it comes to holiness, what is the connection between behavior and identity? What does this mean for the healing journey? We invite you to join us on the trail! Throughout God's love story the Bible there are many references to the holiness of God. Holy in the Biblical context has two meanings that are intertwined. One is the use of the term holy in reference to the essence of God. That is He is pure and clean, sacred and devoted. The second meaning of holy is to be set apart for a specific purpose. Both meanings of holy God is. As you listen be blessed, empowered and transformed in Jesus' name. For more information and free resources visit our website jesuslovestheworld.info Also connect with us in discipleship, watch our videos, follow us on facebook or send us an email
Friends of the Rosary: Today, on New Year's Day, we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God, our Lady's greatest title. The title “Mother of God” goes back to the third or fourth century. The Greek term Theotokos (“The God-bearer”) was officially consecrated as Catholic doctrine at the Council of Ephesus in 431. It became the first Marian dogma. At the end of the Council of Ephesus, crowds of people marched through the streets shouting: “Praised be the Theotokos!” This Catholic doctrine is based on the doctrine of Incarnation, as expressed by St. Paul: “God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law” (Galatians 4:4). The Catechism of the Catholic Church (721) explains this: "Mary, the all-holy ever-virgin Mother of God, is the masterwork of the mission of the Son and the Spirit in the fullness of time. For the first time in the plan of salvation and because his Spirit had prepared her, the Father found the dwelling place where his Son and his Spirit could dwell among men. In this sense, the Church's Tradition has often read the most beautiful texts on wisdom in relation to Mary. Mary is acclaimed and represented in the liturgy as the "Seat of Wisdom." On this day the Catholic Church also celebrates the World Day of Peace, a tradition established by Pope Paul VI and confirmed by Pope John Paul II. Hi friend! I know a lot of us struggle with feeling distant from God. And even worse, we blame ourselves for it because, after all, "God never leaves us"—so we think thoughts like, "It must be me! I must be doing something wrong." In today's episode, I share three other possible reasons you could be feeling distant from God. And it may have nothing to do with you and your choices at all. It's a tool I learned years ago that has been so helpful. Blessings to you as we're all in this together, navigating life one day at a time. So grateful you're here! Sermon on Exodus 28:1-5. This is the thirty-ninth sermon in our year-long series on Exodus, and the sixth sermon in the fifth movement of this sermon series called Life with God. In this fifth movement of Exodus, we join Israel as God gives various additional laws, shares a meal with Israel's elders, and offers instructions for preparing the tabernacle as a place of worship. For seven weeks, we will consider the ways that these seemingly outdated laws and blueprints tell us something about the God we serve. In this sermon, we explore how we are always representatives of the God we worship, so we can wear our faith proudly.

Today's passage is a very sober look at some of the most serious sins plaguing the Corinthian church. This section is perhaps the main reason Paul wrote this letter, and it is a reminder to us to confront and drive out sin from our midst so that we as Christ's church may be holy as He is holy.--Come visit us on our various social platforms---Facebook- https---www.facebook.com-pbc.nyc-----Instagram- https---www.instagram.com-pbc.nyc-----Youtube- https---www.youtube.com-pbcnyc---

The Daily Still Podcast - Guided Christian Meditations and Devotions
On Holy Tuesday, the religious leaders tried to discredit Jesus' power and ultimate authority. But Jesus clearly states his deity and authority in John 14:6. He is the way, the truth and the life. He died so that we can have personal access to the Father. Jesus invites us to trust in Him. Silence and solitude is a place of resting and trusting in God. We invite you to pause for a few moments of silent reflection. "Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Put your hope in the Lord. Travel steadily along his path." - Psalm 37:7&24
In this season 3 premier, the original 4 return to answer the question: How do I walk in the spirit?
Philippians 4:6-7
Is your God holy or familiar? What difference does it make? How do the fear of the Lord and the holiness of God go hand-in-hand? In Matthew 6, as Jesus teaches the disciples to pray, he speaks of the holiness of God. When we become too familiar with God we can lose the holy aspect of His nature. However, when we grow in our understanding of the holiness of God our relationship with Him deepens in ways we never envisioned. On today's episode, Sadie and Gavri'el give a broad overview of Calvinism, including its history, its main doctrinal points, (TULIP) and why it has recently seen such a resurgence in popularity. TW: In general we talk about a lot of potentially triggering topics on this show, including but not limited to suicide and mental health, racism, misogyny, PTSD and PTSD symptoms, child abuse, mental, physical, and sexual abuse, and spiritual abuse including guilt, shame, and fear. In most episodes we'll mention at least a few of these topics, but we try very hard to avoid graphic detail unless it's relevant to the story we're telling, and we do our best to give the audience a heads-up before going into detail on any of these topics.
