Mens Room Question: What do you think made you sick?
When James Garfield won the presidential election, Charles Guiteau was ecstatic. He was certain that he'd played a major role in Garfield's victory. So, fueled by delusion, Charles Guiteau began hounding James Garfield for a political appointment.Meanwhile, New York Senator and political boss Roscoe Conkling threw a temper tantrum. James Garfield had the tenacity to fill his cabinet with members of his *own* choosing. That made Roscoe mad. So? He hatched a plan. A very stupid plan.Remember, kids, history hoes always cite their sources! For this episode, Kristin pulled from: The book, “Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Madness, Medicine, and the Murder of a President,” by Candice MillardThe book, “Dark Horse: The Surprise Election and Political Murder of President James A. In March, around 90% of Americans are deficient in vitamin D, which has been linked to serious physical and mental health challenges. What is vitamin D? How do you get it? What can happen if you don't get enough? What is enough? TPR's Bonnie Petrie talks about her own March madness with a Boston University doctor who has been studying this chemical — that isn't actually a vitamin — for decades.
What happens when a world-class macromolecular scientist—who engineered innovations for NASA and the US Army—reaches the breaking point of burnout? You don't just heal; you decode the biology of joy. In this powerhouse episode of Never Perfect, Dr. Beth sits down with Dr. Mamta Bhatt, a scientist and executive consultant for J&J and Nike turned holistic wellness pioneer. After spending 20 years in a monastery, Dr. Bhatt synthesized her rigorous scientific background with ancient wisdom to create a revolutionary healing protocol to get herself well after years of being bedridden. Now she helps clients globally. From reversing 25-year insomnia to resolving chronic metabolic issues in just months, her results speak for themselves. If you have ever felt that your worth is tied to your "doing," or that rest is something you must "earn," this conversation is your biological "permission slip" to stop. Lasst euch also überraschen und hört rein!

YOUR BIRTH, GOD’S WAY - Christian Pregnancy, Natural Birth, Postpartum, Breastfeeding Help
Show Notes: Notes, references, freebies, and recommendations from this episode can be found here - https://www.morriswellnessservices.com/blog/184 Plastic is one of the most normalized sources of endocrine disruptors in modern life. It's in food storage containers, water bottles, canned goods, non-stick cookware, and takeout packaging. But plastic is not chemically inert. Under certain conditions, the additives used to make plastic durable, flexible, or heat-resistant can migrate into the food and drinks we consume daily. In this episode, we break down how chemicals like BPA, BPS, phthalates, and PFAS move from plastic products into your body. You'll learn how heat, fat, acidity, and time increase chemical migration, why ingestion is the most significant exposure route, and how these compounds act as hormone imposters once inside the body. We discuss how plastic-related endocrine disruptors can: Mimic estrogen Lower progesterone Interfere with thyroid signaling Increase insulin resistance Contribute to fertility challenges Add to metabolic dysfunction This conversation also explains why women are particularly vulnerable due to hormonal cycling, pregnancy, postpartum shifts, and fat tissue storage. Most importantly, we cover practical, non-extreme changes that lower exposure in your kitchen, including avoiding heating plastic, switching to glass storage, replacing damaged non-stick cookware, and being strategic with canned foods and bottled water. Reducing plastic exposure lowers endocrine load. But removing interference is only the first step. Restoring hormone balance requires rebuilding metabolic function intentionally. This episode is part of the Endocrine Disruptor Series, where we explore the everyday exposures quietly impacting women's health and what to do about them with clarity and strategy. In this episode, Jarrod and Anita pull back the curtain on one of the most dangerous lies in modern medicine: that controlled numbers on a piece of paper equal actual health. If you're on medications for blood pressure, cholesterol, high blood sugar, or other diagnoses and your doctor says your numbers look good, this episode is going to stop you in your tracks. Because "managed" and "healthy" are not the same thing, and as a Kingdom leader with a divine assignment, you cannot afford to confuse the two.Jarrod shares the moment that broke him: sitting in a medical conference watching a healthcare provider teach other providers to stack medication on top of medication to chase symptoms, never once asking what was causing the fire in the first place. That moment changed everything! Here's what you'll discover in this episode:Why controlled numbers ≠ true health (and what it really means to be a "managed sick person")How disease starts silently, sometimes decades before you feel a single symptom (the research on children as young as four will floor you)The hay field analogy that perfectly captures everything wrong with how we approach chronic illnessAnd the good news: how to have the meals you love and achieve optimal nutritionThis episode is not anti-medicine. This is pro-you... all of you. Your calling, your legacy, your family, your full Kingdom impact. You were made for more than just pushing through or "surviving." It's time to stop managing so you can start thriving.

Today Allie unpacks a series of dark, interconnected stories — from recent trans-identified shooters in Rhode Island and Canada to the ongoing fallout from the Epstein files — and shows how they reveal a spiritual and cultural crisis, especially for children. She explains why Christians must respond with clarity and courage, not cowardice and compromise, in an age that targets kids through progressive social experiments and fatherlessness. Allie also exposes Frida Baby's disturbing sexualized marketing toward parents and babies. Finally she closes with powerful encouragement rooted in biblical hope, reflecting on former Nebraska Republican Sen. Ben Sasse's bold, Christ-centered perspective as he faces terminal cancer. Hey friend, Does noise make your brain fog worse? Do you feel tired all the time by mid-morning in a loud house? Are you blaming yourself for not being able to focus? If your house is loud and your productivity disappears by 10am, you're not failing — your nervous system may be overloaded. In this episode, I explain why constant interruptions and sensory input can worsen brain fog, fatigue, and chronic stress — especially in neurodivergent homes. I walk you through practical, home-based strategies like parallel play productivity, body doubling, short sprint work blocks, and simple noise control methods that protect your energy instead of draining it. You don't need a quieter life to get things done. You need a nervous-system-friendly way to work inside the noise. I'm Ashley — a mom living with chronic illness in a neurodiverse family. If you're dealing with constant fatigue, brain fog, inflammation, and broken sleep while trying to keep up with your kids, you're not alone. This podcast is for chronic illness moms raising neurodivergent kids who want stress relief, better sleep, and simple, realistic habits to finally feel better in their bodies. Each episode shares nervous-system-friendly support to help you calm overwhelm, boost energy, and practice healthy habits that improve your symptoms — even in the middle of a full, demanding life. Do you want to stop people pleasing, but struggle to keep your boundaries? If you tend to stress or panic the second someone reacts negatively to your boundaries, this episode is for you. This week in the Let's Talk About Mental Health podcast, I'm focusing on “the wobble moment” that often comes from boundary pushback. If you know how to say no but struggle with boundary setting when guilt, tension, or persistence shows up, this episode will help you keep your boundaries without drama. I'll break down why people pleasing in relationships often comes from fear of conflict, conflict avoidance, and fear of disappointing people, and how that leads to over-explaining, self-abandonment, and feeling stuck in your own head. You'll learn practical mental health tips for setting boundaries and holding boundaries in a calmer, clearer way, so you can stop people pleasing and keep your boundaries even when someone doesn't like it. And if you keep thinking “why can't I set boundaries?” or you feel you can't say no because of guilt when saying no, I'll show you how to be more assertive while still being a decent human being.

Are you sick? Jesus says, “Those who are healthy do not need a physician, but the sick do.” The question is — do we recognize our need for Him? If we don't admit we're not where God wants us to be yet, we won't seek healing. We won't seek growth. We won't seek repentance. The good news? God isn't done with us. Today is another chance to grow. Another chance to forgive. Another chance to love better than yesterday. Let's pray for healing in our Church. Let's pray for holiness among priests. Let's pray for revival. Rise Up is a daily reflection journey through Lent and Easter focused on the Gospel, friendship, and real transformation.

Tom Sykes, The Daily Beast's unmissable Royals columnist, joins Executive Editor Hugh Dougherty to examine how the fallout from Jeffrey Epstein has reignited a crisis around Prince Andrew that now threatens to engulf the wider monarchy. As new scrutiny revisits Andrew's relationship with Virginia Giuffre and raises questions about what the Palace knew, Sykes argues that King Charles III is confronting a scandal no longer containable by tradition or silence—one already straining relations with heir Prince William and forcing a reckoning over accountability, reputation, and whether the royal family can still rely on deference in an era demanding transparency.
