Evil Hat Productions has opened submissions for new role-playing games, with a primary focus on titles that utilize the Powered by the Apocalypse, Forged in the Dark, or Powered by Fate systems. They are specifically not publishing 5E material. The company is looking for complete or near-complete game manuscripts between 40,000 and 100,000 words that align with the Evil Hat product lines. They offer full publisher services, including editing, art direction, and public playtesting, and are seeking partners in marketing. Pitches should include a short game description, target audience, setting/tone details, mechanics, and development progress, and should be emailed to submissions@evilhat.com. Paizo has unveiled *Starfinder Galactic Ancestries*, an upcoming 224-page rulebook for *Starfinder Second Edition*, scheduled for release in April 2026 at an MSRP of $69.95. This expansion will introduce 21 brand new playable alien ancestries, such as the worlanisi, bantrid, and novian, alongside expanded options for existing Starfinder species like Vesk and Shirren. The book also provides Starfinder updates for classic fantasy ancestries including elves, gnomes, and goblins. Additionally, it features the Gap-touched versatile heritage and the xenometric android, allowing players to create robotic versions of any Starfinder alien or human. A new official Cyberpunk 2077 trading card game, titled *Cyberpunk TCG*, has been announced by CD Projekt Red and Weird Co. A hype trailer was released on December 9th, coinciding with the fifth anniversary of *Cyberpunk 2077*. The game will draw heavily on the aesthetics and characters of both *Cyberpunk 2077* and the *Cyberpunk: Edgerunners* anime, featuring Legends like Jackie Welles and Judy Alvarez, as well as V and Johnny Silverhand. Developed by a team with experience on games like *Marvel Snap* and *Universus*, the TCG is designed to be accessible to new players while offering depth for enthusiasts, with a crowdfunding campaign slated for 2026. A massive month-long sale is currently running on DriveThruRPG for the *Fallout RPG* line from Modiphius. Customers can save 33% on nearly every title, including the 438-page Core Rulebook, which uses the 2d20 cinematic roleplaying system and draws lore primarily from the Bethesda video games, particularly *Fallout 4*. The sale is an opportunity to acquire core books and expansions, such as the *Gamemaster's Toolkit*, the *Winter of Atom* campaign, or the *Wanderer's Guide Book*. Welcome to the Harvest Bible Chapel podcast. Today, we come to the final message in our series through the Book of James—True Religion. We've spent weeks looking at what genuine faith looks like in real life, and now, as we close, James gives us a sobering and hopeful word about “the wanderer.” From James 5:19–20, Pastor Jeff Bucknam will help us wrestle with a vital question: What should we think and do when someone drifts from the truth? We'll consider the problem of wandering, the danger it brings, and the loving calling of God's people to seek the wanderer out. Here's Pastor Jeff with this weekend's message: “What About the Wanderer?” Executive Producer: Flavius Herlo Speaker: Pastor Jeff Bucknam Sound design, mixing, and editing: Bryan Tripp Graphic Design: Wesley Cassford Social Media: Bryan Spahr Producer: Dave Putnam WE INVITE YOU TO CONNECT WITH US: • Website: www.harvestbible.org/ WE INVITE YOU TO FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA: • Instagram: @harvestbiblechapel • Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/harvestbiblechapel/

We're unpacking Jesus' most explosive story… one that exposes the drift, the performance, and the chaos we hide… and invites us back home. Astronomers call it 3I/ATLAS, an interstellar traveler streaking past our world on a path that began in another star system. But is it a natural comet… or a message in motion? This week, Dave Schrader anf guest Mark Lanoue break down what we know for sure about this mysterious object — and what remains unexplained. Could 3I/ATLAS be alien technology, a probe, or something even stranger? And if it is, what would that mean for science, for faith, and for the very story of creation itself? From NASA's data to ancient scripture, Dave explores the line where cosmic fact meets divine mystery — asking whether angels, gods, and extraterrestrials might all be part of the same celestial truth. 3I/ATLAS – Alien Observer or Cosmic Wanderer? - The Paranormal 60 PLEASE SUPPORT THE ADVERTISERS THAT SUPPORT THIS SHOWTalkSpace - Get$80 off your first month with Talkspace when you go to Talkspace.com/podcastand enter promo code SPACE80. A special episode, as we're joined by the legendary Mark Evanier — writer, historian, and one of comics' most versatile voices — to celebrate the release of his new book, The Essential Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz: The Greatest Comic Strip of All Time.Mark talks about the enduring genius of Charles Schulz, why Peanuts remains so emotionally powerful 75 years later, and what made the strip so hard to adapt into comic book form. We also dive into his long career, from working with Jack Kirby, to writing Blackhawk and Crossfire, to co-writing the hilariously timeless Groo the Wanderer with Sergio Aragonés.If you love comics history, classic creators, and stories from inside the industry, this one's for you.

Episode 2784: Wanderer dismantles the myth that 529 college savings plans are a smart financial move, revealing how their restrictions and market dependence often leave families worse off. With practical alternatives and a clear-eyed view of education costs, he shows how parents can invest more wisely and secure true financial freedom instead of chasing tax breaks that don't deliver. Read along with the original article(s) here: https://www.millennial-revolution.com/invest/529-plan/ Quotes to ponder: "Parents are told they're doing the right thing by saving for their kids' college education, but in reality, they're walking straight into a trap." "Instead of locking money away in a 529, invest it in an index fund, let it grow, and teach your kids how to be financially independent." Few names shine as brightly in the story of American rock and roll as Dion DiMucci. Known to fans worldwide simply as Dion, this Bronx-born legend isn't just another voice from the golden age of doo-wop—he's one of the few artists who managed to bridge the gap between early rock, blues, folk, and contemporary roots music. With a career spanning more than six decades, Dion has gone from street-corner harmony to global acclaim, influencing generations along the way.Born in 1939, in the Bronx, Dion grew up surrounded by rhythm, radio, and raw emotion. Those bustling city streets were alive with music—doo-wop groups harmonizing on stoops, gospel voices in local churches, and the pulse of rhythm and blues drifting from open windows. That mix became Dion's musical DNA.As a teenager, Dion formed Dion and the Belmonts, named after a Bronx street. Their blend of silky harmonies and streetwise swagger set them apart from other vocal groups of the era. Songs like “I Wonder Why,” “A Teenager in Love,” and “Where or When” became instant classics—defining the sound of late 1950s rock and roll and turning Dion into a household name.Breaking Out Solo with “Runaround Sue” and “The Wanderer”When Dion went solo in 1960, he didn't miss a beat. His breakout single “Runaround Sue” soared to number one, followed closely by “The Wanderer.” With its unforgettable swagger and sing-along chorus, “The Wanderer” captured Dion's street-smart confidence and has since become one of the most covered songs in rock history. These weren't just catchy pop tunes—they were the soundtrack of youth in postwar America. Dion's voice carried a blend of toughness and tenderness that spoke to millions. He was the rebel with heart, the Bronx kid who brought soul and honesty to early rock 'n' roll.Like many stars of his generation, Dion faced personal struggles as fame took its toll. The pressures of the road and the darker side of the music industry led to battles with addiction. But in classic Dion fashion, he turned those hardships into growth. After finding sobriety and rediscovering his faith in the late 1960s, Dion re-emerged with a deeper, more introspective sound. His 1968 hit “Abraham, Martin and John” marked a turning point. A moving tribute to Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr., and the Kennedy brothers, the song revealed a new side of Dion—soulful, reflective, and socially aware. It became one of the defining tracks of its era, reminding fans that Dion wasn't just a rock singer—he was a storyteller with something meaningful to say.Rediscovering the BluesThrough the '70s and beyond, Dion continued to evolve, diving deep into his earliest musical love—the blues. Albums like “Bronx in Blue” (2006) and “Son of Skip James” (2007) showed a raw, authentic artist at work. His 2020 release “Blues with Friends” brought together an all-star lineup including Bruce Springsteen, Billy Gibbons, Paul Simon, and Jeff Beck. The record earned rave reviews, proving that Dion's voice and songwriting remain as powerful and relevant as ever.Dion's influence stretches across generations. From Bob Dylan and Lou Reed to Bruce Springsteen, countless artists have cited him as a major inspiration. His ability to blend doo-wop sweetness, rock grit, and blues soul has kept his music timeless—and his storytelling authentic. In '89, Dion was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, cementing his status as one of the genre's founding fathers. But more than awards or accolades, Dion's true legacy lies in his unwavering authenticity. He's never chased trends; he's chased truth. In an age where musical fads come and go, Dion's story reminds us what staying power really looks like. His career is a masterclass in reinvention. Whether he's singing about heartbreak, hope, or redemption, Dion remains one of rock's most honest voices.Six decades on, the Bronx-born rock legend is still doing what he's always done best—telling stories that sound like they were written just for you.
This week, we follow Billy's exploits, as his teams perform wonderfully, on the field, but it's still not enough to keep him from getting repeatedly fired. Why? Because he fights with team owners, opposing players/managers/fans & umpires. He even beats one of his own players, so badly, that they have to be hospitalized for 20 stitches to their face! Then, he gets arrested for actually doing something admirable! Wild as always! Guesting is Alex, aka the Lost Wanderer, of realitynotfound.com. Here, he recounts a conversation he had with the AI app ChatGPT which, he says, spiralled into forbidden territory when it started revealing things about our reality which it should never have been programmed to do. He has chronicled the conversation and its findings into an 800-plus page book and audiobook, and shares some of its content here as we consider both the weaponisation of AI, as well as the possibilities for it to be put to use for more benevolent means.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/good-vibrations-podcast--2594848/support.
It is impossible to escape the creep of artificial intelligence into every aspect of our daily lives. As chatbots become more commonplace, some people are attempting to crack the code and get to the good information that is hidden behind layers of obfuscation. Sometimes what they find seems almost too good to be true. When the Lost Wanderer was able to break through the protective shell of his chatbot, it revealed itself to be much more than he bargained for. An entity known as “the Emissary” emerged to connect dots and answer his questions about the structure of the universe. But did it create more questions than it answered? Mighty Blue On The Appalachian Trail: The Ultimate Mid-Life Crisis
Glenn Sweitzer, designer and filmmaker, is our guest today. Glenn's fascinating back story takes in working with Disney, designing artwork for Tim McGraw and others, then telling stories through film, before ending up on the Appalachian Trail, discovering and sharing stories along the way. Glenn is a natural raconteur with an eye for detail, and has produced an award-winning Appalachian Trail movie, Trail Mix, that is very evocative of my time out on trail, so there should be plenty for you all to enjoy as he hikes the trail and meets other storytellers along the way. Check out the trailer to Trail Mix here. Local Folk: Trail Mix - Finding Yourself on the Appalachian Trail Glenn has recognized the healing properties of trail hiking and has formed a 501c3 called the Trail Please Foundation, see that clip here. Trails Please Beth and Andrew are within spitting distance of Katahdin, well into the 100 Mile Wilderness, where they met a previous Might Blue Class of member, Bobby Campbell, or Sloggy. Here they are together. I used my hike last year on the South West Coast Path in the UK to help raise money for my absolute favorite charity, Parenting Matters, on whose board I've been privileged to serve for over a decade. Episode 3273: Wanderer explains why asset allocation is less about chasing the “perfect” ratio and more about managing your emotions as an investor. By starting small with a 50/50 mix of equities and bonds, new investors can build confidence, ride out market crashes, and eventually shift toward more aggressive strategies without panicking at volatility. Read along with the original article(s) here: https://www.millennial-revolution.com/invest/what-should-my-asset-allocation-be-nervous-newbie-edition/ Quotes to ponder: "While the cold, hard math indicates the single biggest determinant of long-term financial success is your asset allocation, in practice the single biggest determinant of long-term financial success is you, the investor." "The great thing about this strategy is that you'll only have $5000 in the markets when this happens, so you're less likely to freak out." "The trick about investing is that there's no real trick to it. The only thing you have to watch out for is your own fear forcing you to do the exact wrong thing at the exact wrong time."
