A very important OOT update. See you in season 2 :)
Woah, we're halfway there (and living on a prayer)! In this episode, we're taking a look back at the last 6 months and discussing how our goals we set together in January are going. Hint - some better than others. But we're optimistic about what the next 6 months could hold for us!
In our 20th(!) episode, Natalie and Kassidy break down their favorite job postings on TurfNet! They discuss points of interest, perks, drawback and more of 6 assistant superintendent positions currently open.
Are you experiencing burn out early in the season? Is your mental health a tire fire right now? Are you leaning on your coping mechanisms more than usual? You may have something in common with the OOT ladies this week! Natalie and Julian are unpacking the hectic two weeks they've had (and trying to hype each other up for work on Monday) as Kassidy enjoys some much deserved family time off!
Surprise! This week, OOT is welcoming our first guest to the podcast, Caves Valley intern Luke Murnane! We cover everything from Luke's start in the industry, his moving putting green business, coffee vs energy drinks, and advice for a week of tournament volunteering. We can't thank Luke enough for being an amazing guest, taking his time to sit down with us, and keeping the conversation flowing.
Welcome back to a (mostly) regular episode of On Our Turf! Natalie couldn't join us live, so she will be sharing her spring updates toward the end of the episode. Kassidy and Julian sat down to talk about the upcoming golf season at their respective courses, ask some fun questions, as well as share a new direction for the pod. Thanks for listening!
The Masters Tournament was last week and Kassidy was able to work it! Tune in to hear her review on her time at Augusta National and some tips and tricks for your future trip to ANGC ;)

Trigger Warning: There is a lot of discussion about feet in today's episode. You've been warned.

In the lead up to our busy weeks, we're recapping what's new with us lately as well as looking forward to what's coming next. We discuss the weather as of late, what's going on on our courses, and get excited to see each other in person for the first time in over 6 months!
Kassidy's baaaack! In this episode, the three of us reminisce on our goals when we first started in this industry and compare them to our goals now. We outline what our goals look like for On Our Turf in 2024 and dare to dream big!

This week, Natalie and Julian unpack the healthy and unhealthy habits they've experienced since starting work in the turf industry. Kassidy was whisked away last minute to work the 2024 Sentry Tournament of Champions in Kapalua and was unfortunately unable to join in live, BUT we still made sure to get her take on her habits during her tournament week!
