Married in dental school?! How can a couple get into dental school at the same time and at the same dental school? In this podcast conversation, we sat down this wonderful couple who are both incoming D1's at UNLV School of Dental Medicine! Ali shared his journey in undergrad and how he continuously improved his GPA and how he had to kill the DAT to get in due to his low GPA. Eqra shared her story with how she decided on dentistry later on and had to take the DAT later in the application cycle, and then submitted her completed application in December. Applying to dental school residencies! In this video I had a conversation with ASDOH D4, Sohaib Ahmad. We spoke about dental school interviews: who they are for, who they aren't for, what it takes, and how to land one! We compared many of the different options and how they compare, what can be gained from them, and they different ways that many of them are structured. Sohaib also speaks about Match and what to do if programs you are interested in participate in Match, and what to do if they don't. A major question many dental students have is what is the difference between a AEGD and a GPR, and Sohaib answered it for us all!
