One Shot Wonders - Off Book is an actual play Dungeons & Dragons podcast where we play improvised one shot adventures! Everything you are about to hear was made up and totally improvised. The only thing that was pre generated was our players' characters, which I have only just seen. For those of you who may be new to d&d, it is a collaborative storytelling gaming experience where the dungeon master, along with the help of the players, create the world and what's in it, and the players play in it. Premier episode of this epic D&D adventure! After a great cataclysm ripped through an ancient land and severed the connection to magic, slowly the world rebuilt... Upon the ruins of the past eventually came a great city, Mythic City. Over a millennia has passed since the cataclysm and we slowly begin to meet our adventurers from all walks of life, drawn together by mysterious forces. Remanence of magic still exist in artifacts, and Magnus- concentrated magic rocks. Mythic City is the culmination of technology and using Magnus as a power source.
