National Indigenous Peoples Month in Canada pays tribute to Kateri Tekakwitha (1656-80). At age 19, after converting to Catholicism and taking a vow of perpetual virginity, Kateri left her Mohawk village of Ossernenon in present-day New York State and moved to the Jesuit mission village of Kahnawake, just south of Montreal, Canada. There she died five years later, respected for her piety and good works. She was beatified in 1980 by Pope John Paul II, and canonized as a Saint by Pope Benedict XVI at St. Peter's Basilica in 2012. Miracles Collapse Time After David presented the documentary about a poor boy who became a successful entrepreneur, it sparked profound questions among the participants in the online “The Way” session. While it's easy to accept the script when everything goes according to plan, how do we handle situations that seem to have negative outcomes? David addressed this by emphasizing that the problem lies in our judgment of situations, not in any specific worldly circumstance, regardless of whether people perceive them as positive or negative. As Jesus taught us in ACIM, everything happens for the greater good, without exception. When we judge something negatively, it may seem like God wants us to suffer, but this couldn't be further from the truth. God's will for us is perfect happiness, which can only be achieved when we have forgiven the past, forgiven the present, and forgiven the future. Miracles can help us transcend the limitations of time. Other participants inquired about how to navigate this world of illusions while fulfilling their personal needs. David explained that our belief in reciprocity creates the illusion that giving and receiving are opposite actions. In reality, they are the same because we are all interconnected, loved and protected as an idea in the mind of God. In Episode 167 of The Intentional Clinician podcast, Paul Krauss MA LPC interviews child psychiatrist Dr. Frank Putnam, MD about his groundbreaking assertion that prevention of child maltreatment is the single most powerful way to improve the mental and physical health of our nation. The conversation likely explores Dr. Putnam's decades of research through the Female Growth and Development Study (FGDS), which has followed sexual abuse survivors for over 35 years and revealed that childhood sexual abuse causes accelerated biological aging, increasing the risk for early onset of physical and mental conditions usually associated with late life. Drawing from his new book *Old Before Their Time*, Dr. Putnam discusses how childhood maltreatment is the largest preventable cause of certain major mental illnesses, interpersonal violence, and much hard drug abuse, while addressing the wide-ranging mental, physical, and social consequences that extend across generations.  Dr. Frank W. Putnam, MD, is a professor of clinical psychiatry at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and an emeritus professor of pediatrics and child psychiatry at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Trickett, a longitudinal study that has followed female incest victims and comparison groups across three generations for over 35 years. When we see all of it through the lens of its Main Character – it should cause us to preach explicitly Christian sermons.Mike Neglia (with some help from Pilgrim Benham) explains, shows and tells how to preach Gospel centered sermons that proclaim the gospel from every passage at our in-person training event in St Petersburg, Florida. After graduating Bible college in Siegen, Germany in the summer of 2002, Mike flew to London, then hitchhiked across the UK and over to Ireland and finished up in the city of Cork. He helped out with Calvary Chapel Cork for a few weeks of summer outreaches and intended on leaving, but the pastor asked him to stay on “for a little bit longer.” He stayed in Cork as a full-time missionary youth outreach coordinator/assistant for more than two years. In 2005 the pastor felt called by the Lord to go elsewhere (New Zealand) and asked if Mike and Rachel would consider staying on and taking over the church.
