Hello everyone, welcome to another episode of Pretty Healthy and Tasty, aka PHAT. Today I'll be having a reflective conversation on commitment. I don't know about you all, but I definitely grew up having my own beliefs about commitment based on my upbringing and personal experiences. With time, I've realized my definition of commitment was completely off, and I'd like to discuss that in this episode. Please let me know your thoughts in the comments and review section. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/rosa-manriquez/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/rosa-manriquez/support

    Detoxing from an Addictive Relationship

Hello Everyone,  I welcome you to listen to an episode thats super close to my heart , and my journey back to myself.   Ever since, I left the toxic relationship , I felt like there wasn't enough information out there describing the symptoms a person experiences during the detachment stage. I always compared this stage to a detox/ withdrawal stage because thats exactly the way I felt, so I am glad I found an article on Goodtherapy.com by Psy.D Sharine Stines who describes toxic relationships as addictive, and explains the bodily symptoms a person experiences when they go ' no contact.'  I highly recommend reading this article if you haven't already. Through this episode, I share a few main key points in her article, and  I also share the 13 tips to healing after leaving a toxic relationship listed by Dr. Kate Balestri who is a Psychologist and Sex Therapist.  I really hope you find this episode informative.
