Evan Nagao is a good dude, and the World Champion. We dig him and his thoughts on yoyoing, we think you will as well. Get to know Evan a little better with Mark and Bergy.
The most important thing in yoyoing is the people you meet. You can swing this object around all you want, but without people, as Chuck might say, you’re just playing catch with yourself. Charles is co-founder of A-RT and trick innovator of the year. A-RT has been putting out amazing content recently, you should check out their YouTube channel, and watch the video with Sunshine Jimmy if you haven’t already, as a lot of this conversation is Bergy’s unnecessarily deep analysis of that video. Enjoy this episode featuring a legend.

Tressley Cahill is one of the staples of trick development in the mid 2000s. As described in the introduction, his yo-yoing is so different than today's scene; and it is also beautiful. Outside of his yo-yoing, Tressley is also a designer. He has worked with companies such as our sponsors Recess International and Caribou Lodge, as well as more around the world for creating good looking yo-yo merchandise. In this episode, Scales has a casual discussion with Tressley about the development of yo-yo tricks over the years, as well as talking about what it's like to design in yo-yoing. Seth Peterson is one of the most influential yo-yo players of all time, but unlike most, it's for more than just his tricks. Seth led a very inspiring yo-yo movement called Save Deth, in which he had travelled with Dave Poyzer all over the United States and filmed amazing yo-yo content, whether it be at contests or just in a casual scene. On top of this, Seth's attention to design and detail in all aspects such as clothing and content is something that lots of people worldwide learned and stemmed off of. To call him an innovator is an understatement; he is a pioneer.
