Turnbuckle Tavern is powered by G FUEL and Official Dick Lazer. Use code TAVERN for 20% off at GFUEL.com and DickLazers.com. Episode 213 of Wrestling Tonight begins with Oba Femi, whose future may suddenly be much bigger than the backstage conversation surrounding his unscripted moment with Bronson Reed on Raw. During The Vision's beatdown, Bronson Reed reportedly placed his foot on Oba Femi without the spot being planned, prompting Oba Femi to immediately shove it away. WrestleVotes reported that the reaction generated backstage chatter, with some WWE personnel taking issue with how Oba Femi responded. We examine both sides of the situation, including whether Oba Femi should really be criticized for rejecting a dominance spot that apparently was never agreed upon in the first place. That story becomes considerably more interesting with Roman Reigns vs. Oba Femi reportedly viewed as the current direction for the Sunday main event of WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh. Dave Meltzer reports that the match is believed to be what WWE is building toward, although nothing is locked in and plans can change. With The Rock's filming schedule potentially complicating the long-discussed Roman Reigns match, WWE could instead use its first WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia to establish Oba Femi as a defining star of its next generation. If that direction holds, the Bronson Reed situation becomes a small part of a much larger question: how WWE protects Oba Femi's aura while preparing him for the vulnerability and responsibility that come with becoming a true WrestleMania main-eventer. WWE is also reportedly extremely high on Royce Keys, with WKRD Wrestling reporting significant internal praise for his recent work and False Finish indicating that WWE higher-ups view Royce Keys as a potential future World Champion. We look at how quickly WWE has elevated Royce Keys into The Bloodline orbit alongside Bronco Nima and Lucien Price in 946, and why the more important story may be WWE testing his ceiling rather than rushing him toward a championship. Bayley has not officially signed a new WWE contract, but all indications continue pointing toward her staying. Dave Meltzer reports that Bayley and WWE were essentially in agreement on terms several weeks ago, with her return to Raw serving as one of the clearest signs that the company expects the deal to be finalized. Bayley immediately resumed her issue with Lyra Valkyria, costing her a Money in the Bank qualifying match and putting months of AEW speculation involving Mercedes Moné further into the background. Paul "Triple H" Levesque says WWE's return to Hawaii will not be a one-time event. WWE is running two shows at Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu on October 16 and 17 while also holding a two-day tryout, with Paul Levesque emphasizing WWE's historical connection to Hawaii and the Pacific Islands through names including Peter Maivia, The Rock, Roman Reigns, The Usos and Nia Jax. We examine why WWE's recruitment effort may be just as important as the live events themselves as the company looks to establish a more permanent pipeline in the region. TNA's road to Bound for Glory is beginning to take shape, but the company has a much larger problem to solve. WrestleTix reports that only 675 tickets have been distributed for the October 11 event at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, with just 43 tickets moved over the previous week. Nic Nemeth vs. Leon Slater and the vacant X-Division Championship six-way are currently announced, while Fabian Aichner has joined KC Navarro in qualifying for the X-Division match. TNA is at least adding meaningful stakes on television, with Moose putting his TNA career on the line against Frankie Kazarian next week on Impact. M by Elegance will also defend the Knockouts Television Championship against Kiera Hogan, while Elijah and Ricky Sosa face two members of The System. The bigger question is whether TNA can turn increased visibility and online momentum into actual ticket demand for what is supposed to be its biggest event of the year. AEW World Champion Will Ospreay says he has discussed entirely new match concepts with Tony Khan, taking inspiration from the Casino Gauntlet and his love of sports-based competition. Will Ospreay also wants to test himself against AEW's previous generation of champions, with Jon Moxley already awaiting him at All Out and Chris Jericho mentioned as someone Will Ospreay would like to revisit. We discuss whether AEW needs another match type at all—or whether a genuinely simple, competitive concept could become another signature format. NJPW has added Aaron Wolf vs. Kosei Fujita for the NEVER Openweight Championship to King of Pro Wrestling on October 12 at Sumo Hall. Kosei Fujita earned the match by pinning Aaron Wolf during the Road to Destruction tour and would become the first junior heavyweight to hold the NEVER title since Will Ospreay in 2019. The match also creates a potentially massive night for TMDK, with G1 Climax winner Ryohei Oiwa scheduled to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in the main event. Episode 213 covers the latest across WWE, AEW, TNA and NJPW, from Oba Femi's unscripted Raw controversy and the possibility of a WrestleMania 43 main event against Roman Reigns to WWE's growing belief in Royce Keys, Bayley's expected new deal, WWE's renewed investment in Hawaii, TNA's Bound for Glory ticket struggles, Will Ospreay's creative ambitions and a potentially historic night for TMDK at King of Pro Wrestling.

Folks, TNA Impact had some genuinely good wrestling wrapped around some real chaos, and nobody breaks it down more honestly than I do, believe me.We opened with The GOAT, Matt Hardy, doing his "MATTer of Fact" about always partaking in Tim Hortons up in Canada — tremendous taste, folks. But he's furious, because his brother Jeff got hauled away in an ambulance last week right as they were about to cash in their rematch clause against the Nemeths. Matt flat-out accused Ryan and Nic of taking Jeff out. The Nemeths denied it, said they only grabbed the tag titles to get PAID, and that makes them the best family in wrestling. Matt said the thing about the Hardys is they will not die, and the Nemeths — hilariously — asked "hey, why won't you die?" Matt jumped both of them, but fell to the dreaded numbers game until security pulled everybody apart. That "we will not die" line is doing a lot of heavy lifting right now, folks.AJ Francis squashed Brent Oakley in a total waste of time, then declared himself the "Greatest AJ to ever set foot in a TNA ring" and challenged Avery Styles. Santino Marella brought out "A-Very Styles," who said hell yeah — until Frankie Kazarian just walked out and cancelled the whole thing. Because apparently he can do that, folks.Harley Hudson & Indi Hartwell beat Xia Brookside & Zoey Serrano in a DAMN GOOD match — Hudson neutralized Serrano, and Hartwell locked in a single-armed cattle mutilation on Brookside for the tap out. Beautiful, brutal move, folks, and a real clean win for Indi after weeks of getting the short end of things.KC Navarro punched his ticket to Bound For Glory, beating Joe Alonzo in a fun X-Division qualifier — Alonzo tried throwing the referee in Navarro's path, but KC reset and hit the Blessing in Disguise clean anyway. Allie & Kiera Hogan retained the Knockouts Tag Titles over Shazza McKenzie & Vipress with Face the Music — meh match. Dutch beat BDE with Death Walks — also meh, folks. The main event was supposed to settle the International Title's number one contender — Jason Hotch versus Trey Miguel — and it was building into something GREAT, trading kicks and uppercuts, a double crossbody, double kip-up, double enzuigiri, both men laid out flat. And then, out of absolutely nowhere, Special Agent 0 ran in and knocked BOTH of them out cold, ending the match with no winner at all. Total buzzkill, folks. Let the match finish!LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and tell me — did the Nemeths really take Jeff Hardy out, or is Matt just making excuses?Visit our website ➡️➡️➡️ https://www.majesticproduction.com/Watch our full podcast here ➡️➡️➡️ anchor.fm/majestic-production

TNA Impact gave us a very solid show, folks. Not perfect, but very watchable and it finished hot. The opener with M by Elegance and Rosemary was just okay, Moose vs AJ Francis got cut off by a DQ right when it was getting interesting, and Mustafa Ali's Order 4 address added some intrigue with Mila Moore joining the group. Ricky Sosa and Bear Bronson had a fun match, Harley Hudson lost again — which is becoming a tradition at this point — and Nic Nemeth spent more time talking down to KC Navarro than acting like a fighting world champion. But then Cedric Alexander vs Fabian Aichner absolutely delivered. Really good X-Division title match, strong interference finish, and a great closing brawl with Ricky Sosa and Leon Slater making the save. Good action, strong energy, and a nice final stretch. Impact keeps feeling like a show with real momentum.Visit our website ➡️➡️➡️ https://www.majesticproduction.com/Watch our full podcast here ➡️➡️➡️ anchor.fm/majestic-production

TNA Impact was a very solid show this week, folks. And what I liked most? It actually felt like the future of the company was on display. Ricky Sosa and Leon Slater looked important, the X-Division stayed active, the Knockouts title picture kept moving, and even with some notable names no longer in the mix, TNA still felt like it had direction. That matters.Nic Nemeth opened the show with Ryan and all the usual arrogance, Mara Sadè and Heather By Elegance advanced in the Knockouts TV Title tournament, Fabian Aichner won a fun six-man scramble, Ricky Sosa got pulled into the orbit of both The Righteous and The System, and Xia Brookside laid down the law as the new Knockouts World Champion before Léi Yǐng Lee came for revenge. Then the main event gave us Eddie Edwards vs. Leon Slater, with Ricky Sosa once again ending the night standing tall.Overall, easy show to watch, good momentum, and some younger names feeling like they truly matter. TNA Impact gave us a very mixed show this week, folks. Some good stuff, some awkward stuff, and one very strong closing angle with Mike Santana and Nic Nemeth. The Hardys kicked things off in full Broken mode, the Knockouts segments were all over the place, AJ Francis squashed poor Manny Lemons, Xia Brookside kept her momentum going, Moose and Eddie Edwards had a strange promo, and then the X-Division six-man absolutely brought the energy. The best parts of this show were the X-Division chaos and the closing Santana-Nemeth angle. The messiest part? That whole Elegance Brand segment, which felt like three different ideas smashed together. Still, Slammiversary feels loaded, and TNA at least gave us enough movement to keep the hype going. TNA Impact gave us a solid show this week with some good energy, a hot opening segment, a fun six-man tag, and a strong main event. Xia Brookside opened the show getting showered with boos after turning on Lei Ying Lee, and the brawl that followed did a very nice job heating up their Slammiversary match. Mike Santana, Nic Nemeth, and KC Navarro teamed up against Mustafa Ali and Order 4 in a fun opener, but of course the real story was the post-match chaos that pushed Santana and Nemeth even further toward war.We also got The King's Speech setting up more Slammiversary drama in the X-Division scene, Ricky Sosa picking up a nice win, Indi Hartwell battling Elayna Black, and a good main event with The Hardys and Moose against The System. Then Santana came back out at the end to call Nic Nemeth exactly what he thinks he is, and the crowd was more than happy to join in.Overall, enjoyable show, easy watch, good Slammiversary build.

This weekend captured the full scope of what wrestling looks like in 2025. WWE delivered layered storytelling and big moments in Perth, TNA tapped into its history and emotion in Lowell, and AEW kept its focus sharp heading into WrestleDream. Each promotion showed what makes it stand out in today's landscape. At Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins outlasted Cody Rhodes in a physical, methodical main event to win the Men's Crown Jewel Championship. The finish saw Rollins use the wristwatch Cody once gave him as a weapon before landing two Curb Stomps to close the show. Just 48 hours later on Raw, everything unraveled. The Vision turned on its leader — Bron Breakker dropped Rollins with a spear, Bronson Reed followed with a Tsunami, and Paul Heyman silently joined their side as Breakker raised the World Heavyweight Title. Rollins' declaration that he didn't need anyone came full circle in a single segment. Bronson Reed's weekend was career-defining. He pinned Roman Reigns in an Australian Street Fight after Jey Uso accidentally speared his cousin through a table. Afterward, Reigns told The Usos he loved them but didn't want to see them until Christmas — a rare glimpse of distance inside The Bloodline. Stephanie Vaquer's victory over Tiffany Stratton gave credibility to WWE's new women's title, Rhea Ripley's homecoming drew an emotional response, and John Cena's match with AJ Styles served as a fitting farewell to his international career. In Lowell, TNA's Bound for Glory focused on closure and renewal. Mike Santana defeated Trick Williams to capture the TNA World Championship in an emotional moment that felt earned. The Hardys and Team 3D shared the ring for what appeared to be their final meeting, giving the crowd one last look at a legendary rivalry. Leon Slater and Je'Von Evans delivered a standout X-Division match that showcased the next generation, even with interference affecting the outcome. AEW stayed consistent in its build to WrestleDream. The St. Louis card is locked in: Hangman Page vs. Samoa Joe for the world title, Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin in an I Quit Match, Toni Storm vs. Kris Statlander for the women's championship, and Okada teaming with Konosuke Takeshita for tag gold. During an interview with Ariel Helwani, Allin said the locker room feels “as strong as it's ever been,” crediting a more focused and cooperative atmosphere behind the scenes. Meanwhile in Japan, Konosuke Takeshita defeated Zack Sabre Jr. to win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at King of Pro-Wrestling. The 31-minute match saw Sabre attack Takeshita's neck before the new champion rallied with back-to-back Powerdrive Knees to close out Sabre's 106-day reign. Takeshita becomes the first AEW-contracted wrestler to hold New Japan's top title and will bring the championship into WrestleDream alongside Okada. The weekend showed just how global and interconnected wrestling has become. WWE continues refining its presentation, TNA is rebuilding through passion and legacy, AEW is focused on consistency and collaboration, and NJPW's partnership moments keep expanding what's possible in the modern era.
