2020 is almost here. Who’s ready?

Play Episode Listen Later Dec 28, 2019 3:13

Detty December is almost over and those of you that borrowed money I hope you’re ready for Igbese January. Lol 2019 has been one tough year and I’m sure most of you can relate cause I can. No matter how bad 2019 might have been There were Also good moments of joy for some people like some people got married, some had kids, new jobs businesses and so on. Well for those who think that nothing significant happened for them this year, I’m sorry but you’re not correct. You see, we tend to forget that the little things matter too. You’re alive, you’re not in the hospital or in jail isn’t that something? Think about it. The progress you made in 2019 no matter how small isn’t meaningless it’s still a huge achievement and because you’re not wining consecutively doesn’t automatically make you a looser it doesn’t erase the wins you’ve had so far. Everyone slips now and then, don’t beat yourself up you’d be fine. Personally 2019 started rough for me, there was so much going on I almost lost my mind but the year is ending much better than it started for me, and I’m thankful to God for that. As the new year draws closer, here’s a little excercise I’d want you to try, I want u to reflect on the year so far, identify your achievements and those who helped you along the way and thank them. You could buy a gift, make a phone call or send a text message or send a mail which ever way you choose make sure you appreciate those that affected your life positively and if you really wish to make the best out of the new year I suggest you forgive and let go of everything unhealthy association, attitude or habit trust me it’d be a great way to end 2019 and to begin the new year. Oh and Before I go, I’d love to thank everyone of my listeners, you guys are amazing, thank you for all the support. Remember 2020 would only be as good as you make it, keep God in charge go for gold in 2020. See you next year. Happy new year in advance. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Depression is real. It exists and its amongst us. State of affairs in our community isn’t encouraging. People are taking the ‘easy’ way out. Suicide isn’t an option. If you need someone to talk to reach out to a person you can trust. The world would heal eventually and I’d love to be here when it does. Say no to suicide
