This is a distillation of my favorite part of teaching and talking - going off in a thousand apparently unrelated directions but then weaving those all back together to unexpectedly form a coherent whole.
Nothing is permanent but 「 this is all just temporary 」 can easily just mean 「 but you'll be fucked for the rest of your functional adult life potentially up to your death 」
A nice lunch and walk-and-talk conversation with GilApologies for the background noise and inconsistent levels. I tried to clean everything up as much as possible but it was shockingly hard and time consuming
