It's Wednesday, November 16th, A.D. 2022. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Greek soccer player sentenced to prison for speaking the truth A court in Athens, Greece recently sentenced one of the country's greatest soccer players to 10 months in prison for allegedly posting “transphobic” comments. Forty-nine-year-old former soccer star Vasilis Tsiartas also receive a fine of over $5,000.  In 2017, he posted on Facebook, “God created Adam and Eve” in response to a law that would allow people to change their sex listed on official documents. The soccer player plans to appeal the sentence and the fine. Jesus asked in Matthew 19:4, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female.'?” European Christians targeted with 500 hate crimes Meanwhile, across Europe, Christians experienced over 500 hate crimes last year. The Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination Against Christians in Europe released their 2021 report last week. France saw the most anti-Christian hate crimes followed by Germany, Italy, Poland, the U.K., Spain, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, and Switzerland. The most common attack directed at Christians and churches was vandalism.  The report said, “Religious freedom is gravely threatened in Europe, especially that of Christians. And the greatest threat arises out of relativism.” The shifting global population The United Nations estimates there are now eight billion people in the world. However, the global population is growing at its slowest rate since 1950. India is expected to overtake China as the most populous country next year. And Nigeria is expected to overtake the U.S. as the third most populous country at the same time. Countries in Africa and parts of Asia are projected to contribute to most of the world's population growth in the coming decades. COVID pandemic reduced influence of the church A new report from the U.K. found many families have become less engaged with the church since the COVID-19 pandemic. Forty-percent of families reported they were less engaged with the church, 44% said their engagement had not changed, and 16% said they were more engaged. Among church leaders, 48% said families in their congregations are less involved in the church.  The report stated, “For many Christian families the pandemic has brought a change in family priorities, with many explaining that whilst they were keen to continually strengthen faith at home, church attendance itself was not as high a priority for them as it has been pre-pandemic.” Psalm 63:1-2 says, “O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory.” Republicans poised to take U.S. House of Reps. Republicans are poised to take control of the U.S. House of Representatives. After five races were called for the GOP on Monday, Republicans now have 217 seats in the House. They just need one more victory in the remaining 13 House races yet to be called. In Oregon, Republicans flipped a long-held Democrat House seat with the election of pro-life Republican Lori Chavez-DeRemer, the first Latina congresswoman from Oregon. Associated Press declares Katie Hobbs Arizona new Governor The Associated Press called the Arizona governor race in favor of Democrat Katie Hobbs.  With 2% of the vote left to count, the race is still tight, and an automatic recount could be triggered. As of yesterday, Hobbs led her Republican opponent Kari Lake by 0.8%. A recount is automatically triggered if a candidate wins by a margin of less than 0.5%. If elected, Hobbs would be the state's first Democrat governor since 2006. Judge overturns Biden's transgender policy Last Friday, a federal judge overturned the Biden administration's transgender policy. At issue was the Department of Health and Human Services' interpretation of Obamacare to prohibit health care providers from discriminating against people on the basis of so-called sexual orientation and gender identity. Two doctors from Texas challenged the interpretation and were represented by the conservative America First Legal Foundation. In 2022, 88 abortion mills closed or stopped killing babies And finally, Operation Rescue reports there are 683 abortions mills in 36 states and the District of Columbia. The is the lowest number of abortion mills in the U.S. in nearly 50 years. Fourteen states now have no abortionists operating in them following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. This year, 88 abortion mills closed or stopped all abortions.  Close And that's The Worldview in 5 Minutes on this Wednesday, November 16th, in the year of our Lord 2022. Subscribe by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldView.com. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Show (11/15/2022): 3:05pm- According to Polish media reports, two people were killed in an explosion at a grain processing facility in Poland along the Ukraine-Poland border. Speaking to the press, Defense Department Spokesman Brigadier General Pat Ryder said the Pentagon does not have confirmation that the explosion was part of a Russian missile barrage. Though, he did reiterate statements made by President Joe Biden in the past—the United States will defend every inch of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) territory. Poland is a NATO member.  3:20pm- In a recent Wall Street Journal opinion editorial, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson argued that “any compromise” with Russian President Vladimir Putin, regarding his country's continued attack on Ukraine, “would be unjust.” 3:45pm- In a new opinion editorial featured in The American Conservative, Senator-elect J.D. Vance (R-OH) contended that former President Donald Trump is not to blame for a "red wave" never materializing in last week's midterm elections. Vance, instead, believes the problem was as simplistic as fundraising—specifically Republican failure to attract “small-dollar” donations.  4:05pm- During a press briefing on Tuesday afternoon, State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel offered few additional details on the reported Russian missile strike in Poland along the Ukraine-Poland border. U.S. officials have not confirmed reports. 4:15pm- According to a study from NewsBusters, in the lead-up to the November 8th midterm elections, late-night television hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, James Corden, and Trevor Noah had 47 liberal guests on their programs and 0 conservatives.  4:40pm- John Hook—President of The Hook Group, a management consulting firm—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his recent editorial, “The Philadelphia Effect.” Hook writes, “Philadelphia –a small chunk of land along the Delaware River across from New Jersey – can have an outsize influence on the entire rest of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Basically, whatever Philadelphia wants is sometimes what the entire state gets, whether the rest of the state wants it or not.” Read the article at: https://www.statecollege.com/opinion-the-philadelphia-effect/ 4:50pm- According to a report from The Post Millennial, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney has suggested that the city will “expand its use of civilians in some roles within the Philadelphia Police Department” so that police officers can better focus on violent crime. Isn't that the plot of Police Academy 4? 5:00pm- Democrat Katie Hobbs has defeated Republican Kari Lake to become the next governor of Arizona. With 98% of the total vote reported, Hobbs leads Lake 50.4% to 49.6%.  5:10pm- On Tuesday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy won the Republican Party's internal vote to decide the next Speaker of the House—188 to 31. Emily Books of The Hill writes, “[t]he 31 votes opposing McCarthy easily” meets the threshold necessary to prevent McCarthy from seizing "the gavel when the full House meets to choose the Speaker early next year.” 5:25pm- The Daily Wire reports that despite overall disappointing results for Republicans in Tuesday's midterm elections, conservatives did manage to flip several school boards across the country—including in blue states like New Jersey and Michigan.  5:40pm- While speaking with Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) at a Congressional hearing, Stanford Professor Dr. Jay Bhattacharya described medical censorship during the COVID-19 pandemic as a “disaster” and suggested that it may have led to people being killed during the pandemic. 5:50pm- A person on TikTok announced they were “trigender”—identifying as male, female, and neither all at the same time… 6:10pm- Russia denies any responsibility for an explosion at a grain processing facility in Poland which resulted in two people being killed. The implosion of crypto-giant FTX is nothing new. In fact, it's like an Enron situation with even the restructuring specialist John J. Ray III of Enron taking control of FTX now. Back in February, 2022, Ukraine's Parliament passed a law legalizing crypto currency. President Zelenskyy signed the law and set up a few weeks later ‘Aid for Ukraine', a website to accept crypto donations to fight the war against Russia and to buy bullets and bandages. It was instantly successful, raking in an initial $48-100 million dollars. This digital currency was then transformed into fiat money and put into the National Bank of Ukraine by FTX in an official partnership. The funds kept flowing along with hundreds of billions additional from the United States and largely from the Democratic Party. Much of this money then disappeared. FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried put a backdoor into the system to transfer ten billion to a trading firm, Alameda, run by his girlfriend. Upwards of 2 billion dollars of client money is also missing on top of that. Large sums of money was then dumped back into the Democratic party making SBF the second largest campaign contributor to the party. Furthermore, his mother Barbara Fried is a professor at Stanford who believes in disruptive justice and new property theory, both of which come from the Saul Alinsky and his rules for Radicals, and the World Economic Forum, which scrubbed their website of any relation to FTX. This money laundering operation in Ukraine, with its cousin in the work of Hunter and Joe Biden, is just a bit of the con. It's all part of a process to nickel and coin you until you have nothing and enjoy it.

On November 17, 2021, Meg Cunningham from the Kansas City Beacon tweeted that Richer, "the Maricopa County recorder, is launching a PAC to support Rs running for non-federal AZ offices who 'acknowledge the validity of the 2020 election and condemn the events of Jan. 6, 2021, as a terrible result of the lies told about the November election.'" Richer retweeted her saying, "Thanks to a few generous donors this is now launching. Join me if you care about traditional Republican 'stuff' (free people, free markets, rule of law), but also don’t believe in conspiracies about the 2020 election or that Jan 6 was a tourist event." The PAC called Pro Democracy Republicans of Arizona claims on their website that they are "fighting to keep our democratic institutions alive." The website is sparse on details aside from how to donate but does have a few sentences on their mission. "The Arizona election wasn’t stolen. We Republicans simply had a presidential candidate who lost, while we had many other candidates who won. It’s time we Republicans accept and acknowledge that fact." "Candidates come and go. But our democratic institutions are long-lasting, and peaceful transitions of power are a hallmark of the United States. We should not abandon this history in favor of conspiracy theorists and demagoguery." "To that end, we are launching this PAC to support pro-democracy Arizona Republicans." Political pundits, candidates, and others have continued to slam Arizona’s Maricopa County Elections Department for ongoing failures in their election system. Almost a week after election day, the county, as well as the state, are some of the last to not have candidates declared as winners, as votes continue to be counted. As Secretary of State, gubernatorial Democratic candidate Katie Hobbs was in charge of overseeing the election after failing to recuse herself. https://twitter.com/i/status/1590526914019864577 - Play Video 0:00-2:12 On Wednesday night, Republican gubernatorial nominee and Trump-endorsed candidate Kari Lake called out her opponent and Maricopa County Richer as "incompetent." Erasing student loan debt would be “irreversible,” a panel of the St. Louis-based U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit ruled, entering an injunction against the administration pending an appeal. The panel consisted of U.S. Circuit Judges Bobby Shepherd, a George W. Bush appointee; Ralph Erickson, a Donald Trump appointee; and Steven Grasz, another Trump appointee. They sided with Missouri and five other Republican-led states that had sued Biden and Education Secretary Miguel Cardona after the announcement of the program, alleging that it was illegal for the executive branch to enact such widespread loan relief. Biden administration officials have said that the Higher Education Relief Opportunities for Students Act of 2003 grants the authority for the relief, which is expected to cost about $400 billion and apply to tens of millions of Americans. The appeals court ruling came after U.S. District Judge Henry Edward Autrey, a George W. Bush appointee, rejected the states’ suit, finding that they lacked standing to sue on behalf of the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority (MOHELA). The three appeals judges disagreed, finding that MOHELA is effectively an arm of the state of Missouri and even if it wasn’t, the financial effect of the administration’s debt discharge still threatens Missouri because it would affect the state’s Lewis and Clark Discovery Fund, a capital fund that can support projects at colleges. The fund receives money from MOHELA. The ruling follows a separate appeals court decision to temporarily block the program and U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman, a Trump appointee, finding it unconstitutional and vacating it. After Pittman’s ruling, dated Nov. 8—the same day as the midterm elections—the administration stopped accepting applications for the program. Administration lawyers have already appealed that ruling and the government will hold onto information from the 26 million borrowers, including the 16 million who have already been approved for relief, “so it can quickly process their relief once we prevail in court,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. https://hotair.com/jazz-shaw/2022/11/14/oregon-leftists-bragging-about-new-gun-control-law-n510693 Oregon leftists bragging about new gun control law The red wave in Oregon didn’t happen for the most part, though Republicans took a House seat here and there and performed well in the more rural, western part of the state as usual. The hype surrounding the possibility that Democrat Tina Kotek could be defeated, turning the Governor’s Mansion red, fizzled in the end. Another piece of bad news turned up in a ballot measure that didn’t draw all that much attention on the national level. Measure 114 passed on election day, ushering in a new round of gun control restrictions and requirements. NBC News launched into a celebration of this “victory” in which they bemoaned the rising number of deaths involving firearms in recent years while claiming (without evidence) that this new law in Oregon would do something about it. In this climate, voters in Oregon have fought back. Heading into the midterm elections, voters took it upon themselves to strengthen gun laws by proposing Measure 114, a ballot initiative that requires a background check, a license and safety training to buy firearms in the state. The measure also prohibits large-capacity magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition. Oregon’s measure is particularly important because Congress, the courts and many state legislatures have done so little to contain the violence. Meanwhile, the number of gun deaths in the United States has skyrocketed — in fact, our analysis of the data shows that guns drove a recent spike in homicides and suicides… Given the Supreme Court’s expansion of Americans’ right to own guns, it can be frustrating to consider what preventive steps are possible. The Oregon referendum, however, is an example of how laws can prevent gun violence. Firearm purchaser licensing, as contained in the ballot measure, is one of the most effective policies at reducing gun deaths. First of all, there’s nothing really unique or groundbreaking about this measure when compared to similar proposals in other liberal states. They are requiring all purchasers of firearms to complete a background check (which everyone already had to do anyway) and complete mandatory gun safety training before being able to obtain a license to own a gun. It also limits the size of magazines to ten rounds of ammunition. What Measure 114 really does is make it more time-consuming, expensive, and laborious for lawful residents to legally obtain a firearm. NBC goes to great lengths to document how many gun-related deaths have been recorded in the country of late, concluding that Oregon’s law will impact those statistics in a positive way. As usual, what’s entirely missing in this liberal “analysis” is any sort of context or even a nod to the reality of gun crime in the United States. Yes, more people are getting shot. That’s only one facet of the rising violent crime rates we’ve been seeing, primarily in urban areas. And the NBC report conveniently ignores the fact that the vast, vast majority of the people being shot are the victims of criminals who could never pass a background check and get their guns on the black or gray markets. Also ignored in this report is the reality that lower-income minority citizens are disproportionately the victims of these gun crimes. And by making it harder for the law-abiding to obtain a firearm, you’re making it hard for them to defend themselves if such a thing happens to them. https://thepostmillennial.com/report-ftx-ceo-detained-by-authorities-in-bahamas?utm_campaign=64487 FTX CEO detained by authorities in Bahamas Sam Bankman-Fried, the former CEO of the collapsing cryptocurrency company FTX, along with two others associated with the company, director of engineering Nishad Singh and co-founder Gary Wang, are "under supervision" in the Bahamas after the trio reportedly were planning on fleeing to Dubai. Dubai is a city in the United Arab Emirates that prior to February 24, 2022, had no extradition treaty with the United States. However, as of that date, the two countries signed a mutual legal assistance treaty which does permit extradition. FTX did not have the funds to pay out. "FTX is under investigation by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding the management and handling of client funds. With this latest development, FTX has more questions to answer as scrutiny builds around the SEC investigation," Cryptoslate reported. Roughly $5 billion was withdrawn from FTX on Sunday. The trouble began for FTX last week when rival crypto company Binance said they were selling off their holdings of FTT, the proprietary coin of FTX. After Binance's comments, FTX was in financial trouble and essentially sought a bailout from other firms, Binance among them. The New York Post reports that FTX's implosion followed revelations "that co-founder Sam Bankman-Fried had been funneling money to a sister trading company run by his girlfriend." That company, Alameda Research, is run by Bankman-Fried's girlfriend, Caroline Ellison, and is also based in the Bahamas. Binance announced that they would buy the company, then pulled out of the deal, saying that after some due diligence, they decided it would not be a good investment. Part of the issue for Binance is that Alameda Research, helmed by Bankman-Fried's girlfriend, holds a great deal of their assets in FTT, and FTX had invested their customers' funds into Alameda through a "back door," without oversight. Details have emerged that FTX had partnered with Ukraine to process donations to their war efforts within days of Joe Biden pledging billions of American taxpayer dollars to the country. Perhaps a closing thought on the Midterms – although I'm sure there's going to be much more to be said about them going forward. I find it disingenuous to believe that the vote-counting process in Arizona, California, and Nevada can't be refined to be more timely and with less hands on the ballots. We, in Florida, had two hurricanes go through the state both in the run-up to the midterms and then during voting and our results were in that day. There were no complaints and no claims of fraud. So it can be done if your election authorities want to do it. The question is: do the states that continually have problems really want to do it? It's a question we have to ask ourselves.I don't believe there's a smoky back room cabal that gets together and says we're going to do this in order to steal an election but making sure that you have a dysfunctional system and refusing to fix it, refusing to purge your rolls, refusing to make sure that the machines work without glitch before Election Day, those are all sins of omission. And in Arizona, I have to be honest, I am very troubled by that election all the way around. The fact that the winning gubernatorial candidate gets to certify herself as the winner and oversaw the election process – and that she refused to recuse herself, that's not ethical. And if she's not ethical going through the election she absolutely isn't going to be ethical in office. So, something's got to change in Arizona. The people of Arizona deserve better.I talk about this and more on Talkback with ChuckWilder...RELATED LINK(S):https://www.undergroundusa.com/p/actually-it-is-patriotic-to-questionSign-up for our mostly daily mail out here:https://www.undergroundusa.comSupport Underground USA (BTC)https://commerce.coinbase.com/checkout/7b2d8c35-55b9-49ed-9918-f7cc6f2a488dSupport Underground USA (USD)https://checkout.square.site/merchant/SW8KGEWAS2A22/checkout/SXG24XFCOWMROX3D5IN42TB2Convention of Stateshttp://ConventionOfStates.com/?ref=69171

Live—from the campus of Hillsdale College in beautiful Hillsdale Michigan— this is Scot Bertram in for Steve on the Steve Gruber Show for –Tuesday, November 15th 2022—   —Here are 3 big things you need to know—   One — Democrat Katie Hobbs will be the next governor of Arizona.  NBC News and other made the projection Monday night as more votes rolled in from the race that had become one of nation's most closely watched contests.  Hobbs is the current secretary of state and was running against former TV news anchor, Republican Kari Lake.     Two—   Firearm deer hunting season in Michigan opens today for the next two weeks. Hunting contributes over two-billion-dollars to the state's economy, but there are fewer taking to the woods to try to get a deer than before. Deer specialist Chad Stewart with the Department of Natural Resources says the number of hunters is down a quarter-million people in the past generation and that has made deer population control more difficult.    And number three— Former President Trump is expected to launch his 2024 presidential campaign Tuesday night from Florida.  The president teased a potential campaign announcement at several rallies in the final weeks of the midterm elections, but honed in on the November 15th date last week.  Longtime Trump adviser Jason Miller said it will be a professional, buttoned-up announcement.

How can Republicans lose with the best: Kari Lake, Lee Zeldin? California Republicans got so good at the Democrats own game of ballot harvesting that Democrats sued to try stopping them. What will Trump say at his announcement tonight? Clay says, "Trump needs to come out tonight and eviscerate Joe Biden and say I'm done talking about the past." Ted Cruz's passion for Republican change should be contagious. Does anyone actually understand crypto? Buck sums up everything: "We're not having a pity party. We rally. We're happy warriors. 6, 2021, as a terrible result of the lies told about the November election.'" Political pundits, candidates, and others have continued to slam Arizona’s Maricopa County Elections Department for ongoing failures in their election system. According to Cointelegraph, "Right now three of them, Sam, Gary, and Nishad are under supervision in the Bahamas, which means it will be hard for them to leave." Dubai is a city in the United Arab Emirates that prior to February 24, 2022, had no extradition treaty with the United States. However, as of that date, the two countries signed a mutual legal assistance treaty which does permit extradition. The multi-billion dollar cryptocurrency company FTX, run by CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, the second biggest Democrat donor right after George Soros, collapsed last week as details emerged regarding their financial practices, which led to a run by customers on FTX. He was 38 years old. MMA Fighting has confirmed the news with sources with knowledge of the situation, following an outpouring of messages on social media regarding Johnson’s death. The cause of death has yet to be announced. Johnson is best remembered for a pair of UFC stints from 2007-2012 and 2014-2017. His first run with the promotion saw him emerge as an intriguing welterweight prospect with unmatched knockout power, while his second run occurred as a light heavyweight. It was during Johnson’s second UFC run that he defeated the likes of Glover Teixeira, Ryan Bader, Alexander Gustafsson, and Phil Davis, and earned two cracks at the light heavyweight championship. He announced his retirement after a 2017 title fight loss to Daniel Cormier, but returned to competition in 2021 and fought once for Bellator, defeating Jose Augusto by second-round knockout. In October 2021, Johnson was to fight Bellator light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov as part of a grand prix tournament, but was forced to withdraw from that contest due to an undisclosed illness. Johnson’s pro MMA record was 23-6 with 17 wins coming by way of KO/TKO.
