We realize more and more how fragile life and the world around us really is. Look for the silver linings, no matter what the situation may be. Stop and appreciate the moments. Appreciate your loved ones. Be a good person and treat others well.
Every choice we make can take our lives down a different path. Luckily in 2002 on a trip to Jerusalem, I chose to turn left on a street to by a poster. If turned right on that street, I would have walked towards a bomb that blew up minutes later. The choice to buy that poster saved my life. Every choice we take can lead down to a different outcome. Life is precious.

If we know life is short and goes by in a blip, why not focus on appreciating the moments and take a positive outlook on the short time we have here? Bring happiness to yourself and others by focusing on what is going well, what you can improve and treat others well.
Prioritize what's important to you and then make your choices from there.

How do we stay focused on what really matters with all the day to day distractions?
No matter how hard the obstacles are, if you keep showing up and keep pushing, you will improve. Life is not easy, but if you put in the time and energy, things will get better.
Why do we need hardships to appreciate life? We should try to appreciate life and the moments even when we are not faced with life's problems and hardships.
Let go of the baggage that is weighing you down. Focus on the here and now and find gratitude for what you have.
Time is finite. We are all aging and time will keep moving. What drives you: pleasure, power, titles, ego, family, etc? Choose what is important to you and those in your lives.
Sometimes pulling out of a funk (feeling down), may just be a matter of time. There are times when proactively trying to pull yourself out of a funk is not helpful. Sometimes, the best therapy, is to just give yourself time.
For many years, I have been afflicted with worry and anxiety. I've been working on ways to reduce the worry and anxiety in my life and focus more on enjoying life. These are my thoughts and reflections on how I'm trying to combat and counter worry.
We should stop making assumptions about the people in our lives and take the time to get to know the people in our lives.
Allow yourself to go through the grieving process. Internalize it and know that it's ok to be sad.
You choose if you want to rise through a challenging situation or let something get you down. You are in control of the choices you make.
I personally feel like I am too connected and think I have an addiction problem to checking my phone for emails/chats/posts and wonder if this is a bigger issue than we may realize.
