Our aim is to make and grow disciples by magnifying the Lord and providing clear explanations of His Word. We believe that the God of the Bible is the sovereign ruler of all things. In God's universe, God sets the rules. All human beings have broken those

Christians have a clear calling from God's Word to be taking the gospel to the ends of the earth. Psalm 19 is a beautiful psalm that speaks of God's glory and might in creation, but it also has some severe implications regarding the lost status of the world and the Christian's duty to fulfill the Great Commission. Tune in to this episode of the Tentmakers Podcast and be edified by a journey through the Psalm 19. Email your comments, questions and remarks to tentmakersthepodcast@gmail.com and share this episode with anyone who needs to hear it. "This Wild Earth" is a song by the artist Young Oceans, and it is featured in this episode. We strongly encourage you to check out his music, as it is rich in its theology and great for focusing and meditating on the Word of God.
Philippians 4:13 is one of the most misquoted, misuse and utterly abused verses in the Bible. Saying "I can do all things" or even "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength" has become, for many people, a sort of catchphrase, detached from its original meaning. But when we remove scripture from its original meaning – (there is only one correct interpretation of any given verse) – then we are playing a dangerous game. In this episode, the Tentmakers test the cliché of "I can do all things" against the light of the Word of God, attempting to answer this question: is it biblical?
In this laid-back conversation, the Tentmakers discuss some of the big changes that this ministry has been undergoing. There is a brand new Tentmakers website, tentmakersministries.com, and in this episode the guys discuss a lot of its contents at length, as well as the very heart of Tentmakers Ministries. The Sinner's Prayer is a prayer that people say or lead others in that typically follows some kind of formula that is intended to help people respond to the gospel appropriately. But is it biblical? Is it a healthy thing to practice? In this episode, the Tentmakers provide some biblical responses to these questions and test this cliché by the Word of God. Do you have questions? Comments? Objections? Tell us about them! Reach out to us on Facebook or Instagram or email us at tentmakersthepodcast@gmail.com

It's easy to take God's creation for granted. We do it all the time. God has given us life in a world that is filled with good gifts and we often fail to see them as good gifts. We tend to view some things as worthy of gratitude, so we pray and thank God for them (like a sit-down meal with a group of friends), and other things (like a couch that we sit on or a mug that we drink from) as mere items in the world. But what if we started seeing the “smaller” things as great gifts from God? Would we begin to love God more deeply and experience greater levels of gratitude? Tune in to this episode to see what the guys, along with their special guest, say about these things!
How could a loving God ordain and command violence! Peyton invites Kyle Murray onto the podcast to chat about this topic!
We hear a lot about the Bible and what it says, but how do we know that this book actually has relevancy today? Why are people applying the words of this book to their lives now when it was written thousands of years ago? Should everyone listen to what it says? Tune in to this episode as Peyton and Stephan unpack this question and talk about arguments and counter-arguments for the relevancy of the Bible in today's culture.
"We're all God's children!" How many of you have heard/seen that statement before? Talk about a cliché! Of course we understand that just because something is a cliché doesn't mean it's untruthful, but have you ever really pondered the accuracy of that statement? Is everyone actually a child of God? If so, what are the implications of that? Tune in to this conversation between Stephan and Summit as they unpack this cliché and discuss the biblical truths relating to it.
As Christians, how can we strengthen our assurance of the salvation that Christ bought for us? In this episode, Summit, Stephan and Peyton discuss the truth that Christians may not always feel saved, they dig into the dangers of lacking assurance, and then they offer some practical ways that we can use to find rest in Jesus and His accomplishment on the cross.
Can you know that you are saved before you die? Does the Bible teach that you can know this? How can Christians be confident in their salvation? Tune in to this episode of Tentmakers Podcast to hear what scripture teaches on this topic. If you're a Christian, it's likely that you have doubted your salvation. Many, if not all, Christians struggle with assurance of salvation at some point in their lives. This doesn't mean that they don't have eternal life. It means that Christians can believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He has the power to save, and that His sacrifice was sufficient for salvation, but can still question whether or not they are heirs of that salvation.
True or false: God will never give you more than you can handle. In this week's episode, Stephan and Summit launch a new series on the Tentmakers Podcast called "Today's Clichés." The first cliché up for discussion is the famous claim that God will never give someone more than he/she can handle. Tune in and see what the Bible says about this topic.
Life is temporary, God is eternal. Either devote your life to the smoke of today or turn your eyes to Jesus. He is the eternal King and the only way to eternal life. There are ultimately two options for you: either perish trying to live for the smoke of today, or live to seek God before and above all else.
God made a way for us to know Him, and knowing God causes us to praise God. And when we are praising God, we are glorifying Him. In knowing Him, we are enjoying Him.
