The reason for forgiveness is healing your own self, letting go of the past hurt, and learning from it, so you can move forward and better yourself, your family, and everyone you'll meet.
In the church, we may hesitate to follow Jesus' advice – go to your brother. Instead, we bottle up our emotions, and bitterness takes root. Let's embrace open communication, address conflicts, and choose forgiveness to release the burden of bitterness.
