Senior Lecturer in Enterprise Development Richard Blundel nominates the co-founder of the Kwendo Kor charity, Maryam Bibi as his 'Unlikely Leader'. Khwendo Kor (‘Sister’s Home’) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization, which has worked since 1993 for the development of women, children, and strong families in the remote areas of the Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa (KPK) and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of North West Pakistan Kor (www.khwendokor.org.pk). The UK Friends of Khwendo Kor Kor (www.frok.org.uk) was established in 2002 to help Khwendo Kor's fundraising efforts. Its aim is to raise sufficient money to give Khwendo Kor long-term funding and sustainability
