In this episode, the IIM Amritsar Economics faculties will share their vision on Aatmanirbhar Bharat. In order to address the disruption caused in the Indian economy by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of India announced a set of measures under the campaign called Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan in May 2020. The Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan or Self-reliant India campaign is the vision of new India envisaged by our Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The aim is to make the country and its citizens independent and self-reliant in all senses. In this discussion, we have further explored the different dimensions of this mission and the way going forward.
