ep.28 | From behind the chair with Kendall Eggart WassThis episode is bittersweet as its the last episode....of the first season! GOTCHA! In case you are wondering, we do have a ton of episodes to release but, due to our schedules getting busier we will be releasing an episode every other week instead of every week. This episode is a bit special for a few reasons.Reason #1. This is the first wedding/bride we have got to work together as vendors and as WE ARE WED TALKS. Reason #2. When we recorded Kendall's last name was Eggart but now it is Wass.Reason #3. There were six vendors (Salt & Light Visuals, Chrissy Floral Designs, Gulf Coast Glam House, AnyDayDJ, Wedding Bees & Southern Frills Weddings + Events) that have been WE ARE WED TALKS, working together to make Kendall's day one of a kind. Reason #4. This is the final episode of season one and, we have some big things coming in season two. #educateandinspireDid you know you can watch the full episode of the podcast on youtube? Wassup "WED TALKERS" We are so excited about sharing the next few episodes with you all!! First off, we love every episode as they all have their own uniqueness to each one, but for the upcoming four episodes, WE ARE WED TALKS. went on the road to Atlanta, Georgia! We are so thankful as well as Ambient+Plus Studio was so gracious to host our guest for the podcast recordings and us all day. Our first guest Kaitlin Long of Downtown Flowers, actually recommended where we recorded and is just one of the sweetest, most creative vendors we have had the pleasure of podcasting with. Kaitlin started as a veterinarian assistant in 2009. She loved helping animals, but in late 2014 when she and her husband Dillon Long were expecting their first child, lifting 50-pound dogs on to the vet table didn't seem like the best idea for an expecting mother. As things would have it, about that time, an opportunity came available to start helping at Downtown Flowers. So Kaitlin took the jump and left the vet gig and started working at Downtown Flowers, not knowing how far it would take her. 2019, another child and, another storefront later, Kaitlin is the sole owner of Downtown Flower's two locations and pursuing her dreams and enjoying making her client's dreams and visions come true.By continuously pushing the business to grow, getting out of her comfort zone, meeting new vendors, using her creativity & resiliency, Kaitlin has made Downtown Flowers into one of the best florists around the North Georgia, Atlanta area! #educateandinspire_______________________________________________________________________________Did you know you can watch the full episode of the podcast on youtube?
