Whispering Hope

In this episode Doug Kelley shares his experience growing up in Montana, where the notion of racism wasn't something that he remembers. He goes on to saying how people and politics divide us but there is hope in Christ Jesus who doesn't see the color of the skin but the condition of the heart.

In this episode #4 listen to Larry talk about discovering and experiencing God's love in his heart...and how this made a huge difference in his relationship and dealing with others thereby taking small but firm steps in race relations. Jesus Christ is the answer!

In this episode 3, you will listen to how the word 'gal' used innocently to communicate about a person...meaning to refer to a girl, was misunderstood and caused a friction and a potential racial problem. Communication is so important and to understand each other is critical, and it would help if we had our mind opened to the language spoken by the other person and first... listen rather than prejudge. When personal dreams get shattered...God's plan takes over. This is a personal story of Gabriel Rufus who came from India to the US after working in a senior position in an ad agency. He thought he would get a red carpet welcome, and because of his background and experience any ad agency would just grab him. That was not to be....Most of the agencies said there were only entry level positions available. The only job that he could get was at Staples. Listen to his story in this episode. The moral of the story is: Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up.
