In the introduction to this new series, Phil Mason takes his audience on a deep dive into the biblical foundation of Jesus' ministry of healing hearts. The first step toward healing our hearts is the revelation of the miracle of the new creation. Phil explores the multifaceted dimensions of the regeneration of our spirit and the healing God has already performed upon us in giving a completely “new spirit.” The work of the Holy Spirit in regenerating and renewing our spirit is a finished work. Our spirit has already been fully upgraded with no further upgrades pending. Christ has been mystically joined to our spirit. The focus now turns to the sanctification (or purifying) of the soul which is a far-from-finished work. Understanding the separation of soul and spirit is vital to our understanding of the Spirit's work in the supernatural transformation of the mind, the will, and the emotions. We hope this message refreshes and envisions you for the heart healing journey.

Who has served as a “Paul” in your faith, and who might God be calling you to disciple as your “Timothy”? What practical step could you take toward that relationship? 5. Which gift do you most need right now: grace, mercy, or peace? How should receiving that gift from God shape the way you respond to other members of his household?

The final years of high school is often the 'business-end' of formal schooling, where we often demand that young people just knuckle down and suffer the "rigours" of high stakes standardised exams and college entrance tests. But these conversations really show you that alternatives to this are not only possible, but happening! Too often, we can talk a great game of hyperbole and hubris about our apparently "paradigm-shifting" designs, but the young people actually experiencing them are telling a different story. What better way to get at the truth than by hearing from the young people themselves! Welcome to my new summer series where I'm examining the complex reality of communication as a woman and how we can move beyond limiting social expectations. Despite being raised by women who fought for equality and told we could become anything, we weren't prepared for the challenges we actually face - like being perceived as dominating when we speak just 30% of the time or being interrupted twice as often as men. This series will cover essential skills like assertiveness, boundary setting, and authentic expression because I believe our best communication comes not from following rules to keep everyone comfortable, but from showing up with confidence and our authentic voice.
