This episode: Doctor Who has definitely never been political, Rosie incorrectly identifies the Menoptera as big butterflies (they are not), we question the logistics of playing Rock Paper Scissors with an Ice Warrior, Minky Update!, and everyone wants to hug Aggedor. In the second part of our examination of Season 11, Jacob explains how Monster of Peladon is a mid-70s reassertion of the idea of the social contract, Bethan mourns for Aggedor, and Ciarán waxes lyrical about the Third Doctor’s regeneration.
