But with a brand new album (Trust The Wire) that’s hit #1, a series of sold-out shows across the globe and millions of adoring fans, frontman Danny O’Reilly talks about how even at the height of his success, he still struggles with self-doubt. But he explains how that doubt can be a motivating factor to get better and better.

Described as "evoking the likes of Joni Mitchell, Joanna Newsom and Kate Bush," musician Róisín O released her debut album The Secret Life of Blue in 2012 and is back with a new single. She sat down with Róisín to play her distinctive music and discuss her evolving style and famous family (her mother is legendary singer Mary Black, Danny O’Reilly of the Coronas is her brother). Roisin releases her latest single ‘Give it Up’ (produced by Eliot James who's worked with Two Door Cinema Club, Kaiser Chiefs and Noah & the Whale) in Whelans on May 14.

Mary Black talks to Róisín about one of her passions: promoting home-grown Irish music on the radio. She tells Róisín about her upcoming Last Call tour in Australia, her last tour abroad. And they talk about her musical family - daughter Roisin O and son Danny O’Reilly, lead singer of rock band The Coronas. She has many upcoming performances, including one in Vicar Street, Dublin on 16th April and at the Millennium Forum in Derry on 23rd April.
