Metalcore Band Breathe In Release New Single  "Misfortune's Hand" + Official Music Video. The rising force in metalcore, Breathe In, released their electrifying new single “Misfortune's Hand”. Bridging the ferocity of American metalcore with the cinematic precision of Japanese metal and visual kei, the track delivers an immersive and sonically devastating experience that defines the band's signature Visual Metalcore sound.      With “Misfortune's Hand,” Breathe In channels the intensity of Bad Omens and Orbit Culture, the visual grandeur of Black Veil Brides, and the artistic flair of Japanese legends The GazettE and Hyde. The result is a track that's both crushing and theatrical.      Brian Kang shares, "For me, 'Misfortune's Hand' represents the continuation and confidence of our new/current lineup. Our last single was a reintroduction of our band (we went through a lineup change prior). This one is about carrying the baton forward. We wanted something instrumentally and lyrically intense to showcase our accelerating momentum."      The music video, available on YouTube, was directed by the band's drummer, Paul Illge Jr. His in-house production crew, who have collectively worked across the film industry with various professional credits, serve as the creative backbone behind all of Breathe In's visual projects. The video was shot in Brooklyn, NY, bringing the band's artistic vision to life.       “Misfortune's Hand” is now available on all major streaming platforms.   Hailing from the heart of the tri-state, Breathe In brings together raw talents from New Jersey, Brooklyn, and Philly. Fusing the aggressive edge of American metal with the precision and artistry of Japanese metal, their sound is as cinematic as it is intense, built to leave a mark both visually and sonically. Formed by five seasoned musicians who have weathered the ever-shifting tides of the music industry, Breathe In is united by a shared mission to bring an intense, sonic experience like no other. The band is made up of vocalist Shola Aurora, guitarists Brian Kang & Topeng, bassist Rob Gnarly, and drummer Paul Illge Jr.  Subscribe to The Adventures of Pipeman for PERKS, BONUS Content & FREE GIVEWAYS!   Take some zany and serious journeys with The Pipeman aka Dean K. Then they answer listener emails about college radio (19:12), the proper set length time (31:22), the preponderance of "deluxe" editions for recent indie releases (40:35), and the first "great" indie album (48:05).In Recommendation Corner, Ian talks about the band Some Images Of Paradise and Steven reflects on the 1977 British documentary All You Need Is Love: The Story Of Popular Music (53:44).New episodes of Indiecast drop every Friday. On this week's show, we crawl out of our post-Thanksgiving food coma to give thanks for superlative new records by Snocaps, The Mountain Goats and Madi Diaz, spin fresh tracks from Lucinda Williams, David Byrne & Howl Owl Howl. and kick it with the always awesome Jesse Welles. All this & much, much less! Debts No Honest Man Can Pay is a podcast that thinks it's a radio show...because it used to be one. The show started in 2003 at WHFR-FM (Dearborn, MI), moved to WGWG-FM (Boiling Springs, NC) in 2006 & Plaza Midwood Community Radio (Charlotte, NC) in 2012, with a brief pit-stop at WLFM-FM (Appleton, WI) in 2004. It phoenixed into a podcast in 2020, thanks to the fine and fabulously furious folks at NRM Streamcast.
