Welcome to Label's Cable, the new Apparel Music mix series dedicated to the labels. On each episode we will share a new, unreleased mix, put together by a different label owner exclusively for Label's Cable. Up this week is a good friend of SB; a label and man that has hooked us up with many a tasty premiere and a fellow lover of that dusty lo-slung house sound. Moment Cinetique are a Deep/House/Disco record label hailing from Sheffield, who will soon be celebrating their second birthday. Over the last two years they have put out tracks by a close group of emerging producers such as Intr0Beatz, Kolja Gerstenberg, Cleanfield, Reece Johnson and established names including Cody Currie, Tilman and Felipe Gordon, with these releases featuring in sets, mixes and charts by DJs like Detroit Swindle, Luke Solomon, Fouk and many more. In March they release their fourth vinyl EP from up & coming London based DJ/Producer Last Nubian featuring remixes from Harry Wolfman and Carlo. Then in the new future there is a remix package coming out from Sweet Fruity Brunch and Selva featuring new remixes by Vagabundo Club Social and Kevin Over. Djing wise owner Dave Platts plays out under the label name with a mixture of dusty house, deep, disco, edits and vodka Red Bull. The mix is a mashup of tracks by label artists from other labels, a couple of unreleased tracks and includes the two remixes from Moment Cinetique's upcoming vinyl release. House #Saladcast 531 @ Dave Platts Delve Deeper Recordings Sheffield, UK Hailing from Sheffield in the North of the UK, DJ/Producer Dave Platts is co-owner of Deep House label Delve Deeper Recordings, a label dedicated to breaking new talent alongside remixes and releases from some of the scene's established producers. Since getting his first set of belt drive decks when he was 13, Dave has collected and spun most styles of dance music, ranging from breakbeat and Drum & Bass to Deep and Disco and setup Delve Deeper with fellow DJ/Producer Liam Connolly nearly 3 years ago after becoming resident at parties he was hosting around Sheffield. After only two years of releasing music Delve Deeper has already amassed several Top 10 tracks, helped launched several new producers and gained support from a collection of some of House Music's biggest DJs as well as growing fanbase of supporters.
