À 13 ans, Sébastien Tellier voit les Pink Floyd en concert avec son père. C'est devant les solos de David Gilmour qu'il trouve sa vocation.À 22 ans, il signe son premier contrat. Son premier single en studio se retrouve dans Lost in Translation de Sofia Coppola et fait le tour du monde avant même qu'il comprenne ce qui lui arrive.Ce qui suit est un chaos assumé. Des concerts (vraiment) ivre, des heures à parler dans le vide sur scène, et parfois il va jusqu'à envoyer un ami "qui lui ressemble" chanter sur scène à sa place pour quelques chansons.
